I have latency issues with everyone, lower, higher and same ping, even with bots.
I usually play with 40ms ping.
I’m on a x box.

Confirmed by TC top one is a server connection issues the bottom one with WiFi is packet loss.
other way around
the 4 squares with the missing square represent lost packets. unless TC does things upside down other developers use those squares (+1 missing) to represent packet loss.
this is DICE/Battlefield
IW/Call of Duty
EDIT: mind linking the “confirmed by TC” bit?
lol, yup that’s butt backwards
(Mod Edit - Do not go around the language ban.)
no PC in the house to test?
Here you go.
How do you know TC is ■■■ backwards on this. The cod symbols you reference are exactly the same minus color. Orange reps server issues so why can’t TC have that white and packet lost transparent its there game there program. I’ll take TC Sera word on it since Sera went out of the way to look up symbols for us because we asked.
because it’s been that way for years. it’s literally a lost packet out of 4.
anyway, enjoy the connection issues I tried to help you with
Your a day late and a dollar short. Not having issues today.
Shockingly enough… This isn’t CoD
Please stop antagonizing other users.

Good vid content. Got perplexed by so many problems and the content is great. Keep up the good work.
this is my favorite part. I shot three days before him, he takes the shot in the side for seconds but I die and the shot is not registered. I have 900mb symmetric
3 videos and still not a single response. We also have a top thread on the network work being outsourced. It’s clearly an issue the community feel strongly about, if not for Gears 5, but for making sure Gears 6 launches well. Any response would be great.
Has TC even updated the community or made a statement on if there going to do anything about the netcode yet ?
Prediction: there will be nothing substantial made for this game or any other game with poor netcode, and the reason is called NIH. This is a phenomenon where developers are clutching pearls and keeping code secret, and refusing to take advice from those knowing better. The solution would be for developers to open source netcode and share tech to improve consumer experience, but why would anyone do that with executive bonuses and shareholder value in mind?
