Ive been saying that the store is absolutely ripping people off since play early days, pre launch. TC will milk us for every cent now that this game released on gamepass. People still defend the iron system and say how its soo much better than 4 rng pack system. Ive politely disagreed. Yeah rng wasn’t the best but hey it was free. Only esports was a rip off. Now in 5 the whole store is! 8-10$ for 1 character skin! 4-5 for a weapon! They even charge us for executions. Hey keep defending the store and its iron and keep giving out your money and they will never change

Titanfall 2 had a full pack with something like 15 camos for both Titan , Pilot and Weapon for 5 bucks.
The prices were so honest and the content was so much - the price was willingly paid.
The prices in 5 are kinda over the top.
They really should make Iron an ‘earnable-through-gameplay’ value.
Just saying tho.

Your principles are I deserve everything for free. When you go the the movies do you cry because you have to pay for snacks on top of the tickets. Do you keep the same energy and say well why should I have to pay for snacks I spent so much on tickets?
If someone goes to a nightclub and they charge admission at the door and they go to the bar and say my drinks should be free they’d be looked at like they’re crazy. Why? Because you paying admission doesn’t mean you get everything for free it just gets you in the door. Much like with gears except it’s $60 admission and the cosmetics are the drinks which are nice to have but not required while you’re there

I’m not attacking you, I would never attack anyone, but it’s consumers like you that these egregious systems are designed to prey upon. Glad to see you not falling for it in Gears 5.
I think his point is more that it’s an exploitible mindset.

Exactly. If you make people feel like they’re being milked, on the other hand, you’re only going to get irate, stubborn customers who either don’t buy anything or only buy what they decide is absolutely essential.
