Graphics card has stopped working

This keeps happening often any help would be appreciate and I would love to know if it’s happening to anyone else
Also this card is about 3 months only.

GW502 Error - Main thread?

I know there are a lot of people having this issue but everyone seems to be creating a seperate post and its not getting much traction in terms of support from what iI can see so hopefull a thread which shows the many people talking about the issue will help. Me and a friend both brought the ultimate edition of the game and both are getting a GW502 error when trying to play. I reported it back during the tech test on twitter and in the reddit and got no official response. A friend also report…

Thank you I really just want to know if it’s my GPU or the game I’ll go on over and see, thing is I have been playing since launch and while I had many issues with server, this is totally new and has started today and I even updated my drivers.

Its the game pal, my friend im playing with right now has the exact same problem and he has a 1070.

As for the reply from the community veteran, reply about how it don’t get any traction does not help the situation lol

Thanks for confirming that bro, was getting a little worried, it’s legit as I updated my drivers this issue started,I don’t know when it started happening to him but you can tell him to try reverting back his drivers i’m gonna try that.It’s super frustrating that we paid for this and we can’t even play it comfortably.

I deleted setting file and it started to work for me. It reseted video settings to default and i just had to set it up as it used to be.

I started to get the error after todays patch. At Users\YOUR_USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Gears5\Saved\Config\PC\ there is a file called GameUserSettings.ini that stores your video settings. I deleted it and started the game. It reseted to default settings and I didnt get the error since. You will have to change the video settings to what you had beforhand.

I know this might be a bit late, but I’m going to be posting a 100% guaranteed fix on Reddit, I have sent the fix through Twitter to the coalition but no response.

Since the tech test I’ve had ALOT of issues with my 1060 3gb, so I have changed settings around and pretty much just been trouble shooting .

I have had 0 issues what so ever with my fix since launch, The latest drivers however mess up this fix and makes the game unplayable for me, Can’t provide much info as I am on my phone but will post on Reddit soon so keep a look out
