But, on topic: don’t underestimate how many '06ers still play the game. Like at least 6/10 times I hear someone with a headset there’s a kid talking in the background. I feel like the average age of the Gears player is pretty high and keeps attracting older (Gears) players. It doesn’t mean they’re entitled to the complete and full attention of TC, which could possibly limit the amount of development of the franchise, but they do need to be taken into consideration.

Well, I’m assuming you’re a campaign guy, and don’t really know/do versus… That’s fair, I don’ t know or couldn’t care less about the campaign…
So, why MY hate from the Gears 5 versus game play point of view? Hmm… how much time do you have to ready?
1 blinding damage omen
2.nerfed movement with tons of delays , makes me feel like I’m in a Tai Chi sumulator
3. stupidly OP lancer, with no recoil, no bloom, and ridiculous aim assist making it into a full-auto precision rifle
4. open maps with many elevated position to shoot down from, very little useful cover, long line of sights to get lancered from across the map in
5. reduced shotgun ammo capacity, and a nerfed reload mechanism,
6. completely broken new chainsaw revvup mechanism which, most of the time , either jams my gun or causes it to start reloading instread
7. stupidly OP melee
8. “INCOMING FLASH!”
Yes, TC is “looking into” SOME of these, and they made some cosmetic changes to SOME of these, but they are (at the moment, at least, they haven’t changed their party line YET) STILL in love with their new movement model, their new rifle meta, and their chainsaw controls, which are 100% killing the game for me, in versus.
Hmmm… that’s kinda like saying “Gregory House was fun, but the show has focused on him too long, let’s switch the focus of the series to Dr. Cameron”…

It was a post in a topic, not too long ago (like tops 2 years). I don’t remember correctly what it was about, I think about a line that was removed from one of those Gears 4 rapper characters. A word in that sentence accidentally also turned out to be a discriminating slang against specific groups, so it drew a bit of criticism of people who felt offended that a line was removed that offended people. His was one of those posts, I read that fellow’s comment and I thought like: 'What? You for real? ’
ok man… I mean this is kind of odd… most of the post are negativity surrounding the game, ( including some of my posts) so its good to have a change of wine.

True. But that’s because they’re on here complaining about the game they’ve played and enjoyed for 10 years.
Like the CoDs? lmao. The newest one has been the best received in years, since they’ve finally reverted back to being closer to the original days of the game. That’s just one example.

I get the need for fans to support the developer, but every game should be playable until some kind of announcement that a service would end. They need to fix Gears UE Windows 10 for XP and rotating gametypes
