Tc ia not a victim while things should be said with some diplomacy, TC has earned all of this backlash by simply making poor business decisions, developer decisions. Marketing decisions etc.
Example of tc not bring a victim in the industry in terms of finamces and, having it far better than they will admit.
-There is virtually no industry where u pay to have something advertised to u. On TV companies pay to advertise to u. Not the other way around. Now arguing that paying for tv is like paying for advertisement is dumb. Most people do not buy well say bell tv or whatever to watch commercials. They buy it to watch television. If ur a kid then its all toy ads though lmao
They have such a great deal yet continue to utitlize 20$ character skins n such. Despite this is not a fighting game that requires tons of work on each individual character, frame, damage, hitbox etc… Most animations r transferable, with maybe the exception of the horde/escape ability adding some particals or whatever.

True, he is at fault as well, but in his defense you did tell everyone good day, implying that you were leaving and on top of that you told him that you didn’t want to hear his complaining even though it is a forum as you say. So meh.
Sadly releasing an unfinished product is almost a norm today. Only some development studios (like CDPR) are still able to release polished games. The difference is in the publisher, the publisher decide how it’s gonna be, the day the game will be released and the amount of content day one.
I get that TC is now a Microsoft game studio but they are still just developers and i’m pretty sure none of them are cool with the game current state.
But since we can’t hit Microsoft we just need a “mediator”

Considering how they chose to release new characters, one of the main things people have been taking issues with, in such a spectacularly poor fashion…I just don’t see the reason to defend the criticisms now.
When the game launched with imbalanced mechanics, I can get behind giving them some time. Every game these days launches with bugs and problems they need to tweak…but this is new stuff they decided to put out…to address those complaints.
So, people said the roster size was a joke. People said the pricing and content model was absurd. …Their solution is to release a crap set of characters, and lock them? They deserve criticism for that. Defending them is just…silly.
To be fair, the team working on all the bugs seems to be working overtime based on the laundry list of bug fixes with this last patch. But giving us minor characters and non-franchise characters before named gears as a way of “fixing” the roster? Definitely tone deaf.

Agreed. I get the problems the game launched with and know they’re working to fix them, so I don’t agree with the criticisms against those particular issues. The new waves of complaints targeting the new adjustments they’ve made and the new content they’ve added…I find just indefensible. They really needed to add some good will, but instead they made some of criticisms more valid, when this would have been the perfect opportunity to quell them.
