Give TC a break seriously!

Because they obviously care for the game and want it to be better(in accordance with their own views). If you have an issue with that concept, maybe an online forum isn’t the right place for you?

Though I get it if someone says they’re done permanently but still sticks around on the forums. I’m not entirely sure about their reasons then. They don’t really tell either, from my experience.

Complaining and being negative about something is actually a way of coping about negative aspects in their life for a lot of people. They rather aim the frustration at an external cause than confront the internal cause.

Ya but to do it everyday in a hatful way maybe they should go to counseling :pray:t2:

I don’t disagree. But let’s be honest, most people don’t see an issue themselves until they are confronted with it by outside forces.

Very true just like following the sheep

They don’t mean anything because they’re also the ones that’s gonna play your game for a few months and quit, meanwhile the ones who really enjoy your game are gonna play it till the end. They’re also the ones “going with the flow”, wich means a worse iteration off a game doesn’t really matter to them. It’s better to cater to an audience that’s gonna stay for years and not for a few months.

Quite some generalizations there. For a company the important thing is the majority. Be it silent, be it spoken. Because that’s where they earn their money.

And to claim - indirectly - that those who don’t complain on the forums are meaningless is quite derogatory. So let’s just stop there.

Anlathir is correct most of the population is playing and enjoying its only a small small portion on here complaining.

It’s pretty easy to understand. People that writes negative posts still has a belief that they can change Gears 5 to something better. You gotta understand that criticism isn’t something positive, it’s always gonna be negative. Then there’s a matter of how you put it. Some people in sheer frustration puts it in a really bad way and threatening way, wich is not something i condone. I constructive critisism. I don’t go looking for the obviously bad posts, i go looking for what’s constructive.

Uhm… You are aware that there is a term called positive criticism right? Which is not negative at all. Instead of highlighting the flaws it highlights the positive aspects that are overlooked.

True, but as i said before, it’s only a part of the consumers that’s gonna stay and play for a really long time. In the end it’s the ones who are vocal that’s gonna be seen, they’re the ones writing positive or negative reviews. People do research and in the end if people write to many negative reviews the majority aren’t gonna buy your game.

I’ve never argued anything else.

The ones that are influential to a product being bought or not are paid for positive criticism. So that argument is invalid too.

But let’s not get sidetracked. Some give TC negative criticism. Some of it is constructive, some offensive.

Then there’s some who are highlighting the things that DO work and aren’t as bad as some others mention. That’s criticism too, but positive.

In both cases, (besides the offensive part) they share a common goal. To improve the satisfaction of the player.

Those with negative, yet constructive, criticism are trying to achieve so by asking for change.

Those with positive criticism are attempting so by sharing that things aren’t as bad as they’re sketched. Once someone looks at something negatively it’s hard to change their opinion. Fact. Highlighting small things can help to open the eyes.

Because no matter what “side” you’re on. You want to enjoy the game more. How will I enjoy it more? When others enjoy it more. For a healthy community is more enjoyable than a unhappy one.

I like this man. Wise words

Hi @U_Gunna_Get_Got

I’m sorry if I sound rude but I can’t give them a break.

When my friends at this forums a nd I bought the game using the Mastercard Cards our bank didn’t gave us any break when the payment was due, I had to pay and there no breaks about it.

The game doesnt feel like a gears of war game, it doesnt allow me to select my character and my class separately, theres no enough ammo, it has clunky mechanics and in the top of that it has a mickey mouse store club selling me ronald mcdonalds emoticons and characters , tha game its in a rotten state , I was given that for my money, of course I can’t give them a break.

As a Emc Networker Specialist my customers doesnt give me a break when they need their bare metal backups , I have only at most an hour to restore their information, these TC people had more than 3 years to get theiract together and still they messed it up so much I can’t even tell if its a gears game or a fortnite game at all.

Ill encourage people to not give them any BREAKS . if the game feels great then theyll have a break my friend.

At the end of the day we all like gears and want it to be the best it can be. I just can’t stand when people come on here saying it’s the worst broken video game ever created. Clearly they haven’t been playing games very long then. I am really enjoying gears 5 but acknowledge it has issues that need fixing as well as more content much faster. And if these TRUE gears fans on here that give the gate criticism really want change then maybe try constructive criticism so that they will possibly understand and fix in the future in stead of I hate gears 5 and it’s the worst ever.

Let’s just ignore the PC gamers that have Nvidia cards and are forced to play “Pick a driver, any driver” simply because the game still crashes every so often for them.

True, and the public isn’t gonna know about it either. Wich is making me believe more in negative constructive criticism rather than positive. Nice words in your last post.

Criticism is really how you yourself interpret it to a certain degree.
