I must be one of the lucky ones. Besides seeing silver surfer, the first bug I finally came across was getting wall stuck with buzz kill on district. Other than that, shitz been fine. Everything else like bullet magnetism and the BS two piece I hate it but it’s a two way street.
There is no excuse for this dumpster fire called gears 5.You should have all forum rights taken away for life.

You call it a ‘toxic’ environment…,I paid £70 for this game a month ago and I can’t play it because it is an absolute mess. No servers for European players with ridiculous ping and all’s they’ve done is tried to look after players in the US, so yeah, you could say I’m feeling pretty toxic right now.
Even if TC just acknowledged and tried to give an explanation as to why they’re experiencing these problems and what they’re doing to fix it that would help to defuse the situation. I can work and be patient with dev’s that actually seemed like they care about its players. This has been over a month and they’ve done NOTHING and said nothing other than ‘EU players are experiencing higher than anticipated ping’ like it’s a minor issue…to be honest I think they deserve all the negativity they’re getting right now.

DBDs community is very toxic because the game is asymmetrical. 4 survivors and 1 killer. What people fail to realize is it’s 4 vs 1. Therefore it makes sense the 1(killer) has to be over powered. Yet there are plenty of people who think 1 survivor should be able to go toe to toe with the killer and stand a chance. This on top of the fact there are very very few players that actually play both sides equally to see the true balance of the game.
Or World of Tanks.

why not release characters that haven’t been seen for a while e.g. chaps, bernie, prescott maybe ? You know . . .actual characters that would have to be re-created that’s new content, characters that people would actually care about . . .
they managed to create new characters for terminator . . .

Yeah not too sure about that, the way I see it game pass is just a paid demo, if people like the game enough then they’ll buy it, if not they just cancel game pass and move on.
I’m also reasonable but in terms of attention to detail and polish . . . compare 5 to previous games and you can see that something is lacking
if something really really bothers me then i post otherwise I just leave it and move on but I just read that when you purchase the DF2 Pack you need to have DF1 pack 1 for Rev-9 to work, how would someone new to the game or store know this ?
Now from what I can tell and others have confirmed this isn’t mentioned anywhere when you purchase the DF2 pack, if this is the case this is a massive oversight by TC, either its deliberately done or someone at TC went to sleep
Hmmmm, how do they treat their employees? How much are they paying you? Your game must work 100% because you have a special code to get the best wifi and are glitch free since you are one of their employees.
the game is still a beta over a month after release. it’s littered with bugs. TC deserves every bit of flak they get.

I understand what you are saying but. You don’t seem to understand that people, are naturally hardwired to be cruel and blunt especially when a person is angry. So yes they could be a little less hostile about how they bring up problems with the game. But problems are being brought up and right now that is all that really matters
I am not defending the behavior of the community. But sometimes the rude comments we see can be rather constructive especially when they come with from anger. It has taken a while for me to realize it, but gears 5’s community isn’t toxic. But is angry. Like a child who is having a bad day, and their parents are not paying attention.(Note I am not poking at the maturity of the gears community just the best example) Not saying it isn’t a pure community, but it definitely is just a bunch of people who all want what’s best for the game. And the only way they see the devs do something, is when they show them their anger.

Lol please you all speak as if you all bought the game at 60-80 bucks. We all know more then half of you game passed it and yet hear you are talking crap cause you paid 2 dollars.
The hate has been well deserved. Nearly everything has unnecessary limitations that impede positive experiences. Below are some examples. They keep trying to justify it with their intentions, but really intentions don’t matter if end results are poor.
Character Selection: Limited by number of characters, forced unique abilities, and no duplicates. I can’t choose my character and what that character does anymore.
Skins: Limited to one selectable loadout and virtually impossible to get full skin sets beyond the few earned in tour because they limit what they sell in the store and don’t even bother releasing everything in a set in a timely manner. Further, they have said that if you buy a character skin and don’t have the base skin, you can’t play with what you bought. Seriously, do they need to be that greedy if you buy a premium skin?
Progression: As seen in the new unlock system, now limited to make it where you can only progress one character at a time.
Ironically the story is not as limited as previous games, but personally I enjoyed the strict linearity of previous entries.
I actually bought the ultimate edition. The game does have quite a few issues but only 2 things really upset me.
The massive bugs and game breaking issues of early access. I felt like I paid money to test their game. (The game still has bugs like the weapon lockers)
The promotion chars that came with the UE are under powered compared to their counter parts. Half the perks of a char that comes with the game is not something to charge extra.
