I must say that after the last update ranked versus is in a much better shape.
I have to play on my xbox though, instead of my PC which I prefer (both with controller), because PC queue times are 30 minutes at diamond and I get thrown into teams that get a k/d of 0.1… Makes me wonder why I get thrown in with bronze players but I guess that’s the xbox turning off crossplay. TC should remove that. That is true alienating of players. Wtb input based MM instead
That’s not entirely true though. MS still pressures the companies with their… preferences. And as such indirectly controls them. They are after all the funding.
They’re pressured even more because the game is put on Microsoft’s gamepass. Meaning the 60-80 bucks a company normally gets for a game isn’t applicable for the majority of the players. So they have to use their “creative freedom” to make money using different means, microtransactions.
If there’s “blames” going out, MS is a big player in this. The moneymen funds only with certain… high expectations of gain.

This is common practice in the industry today. if you think that Gears 5 is the only game that launched before it was ready than you must not play many games. This is how games are released now. Get used to it and stop crying about it here.
If you want to do something constructive with your complaint than write your congressman, or the consumer protection agency.
Until there are laws passed that prohibit developers from releasing broken games, there will be no change in this now common practice in the game industry.

Calling people insecure, though is in fact showing personal insecurity. So you’re achieving the opposite of what you want to achieve by doing so. Making you appear insecure and whiney instead of others.
But, take it with a grain of salt, it’s not like treating people with mental issues, like insecurity - albeit that’s often the side effect of a larger issue - is my actual job,

The aim assist/bullet magnitism on the snipers is even dumber. You can blatantly miss and it will register as a headshots. Removes so much skill from the game.

Actually, you called me insecure for defending a post. I reflected that with the fact that those that call others insecure are often insecure themselves. Which you should know if you treat mental illness.
(Although treating PTSD shouldn’t be called treating a mental illness. There’s still a lot of ethical discussions on whether or not the effects following a psychological trauma is to be considered an illness, or even a disorder. It’s commonly referred to as an imbalance instead to not be derogatory. )

That’s where the mods can jump in. Which they’ve been doing a good job at I must say. That’s a thing I think everyone agrees on. The mods, being company representatives and as such considered an asset to the TC team, are doing a good job at throwing duplicate topics into one topic.
