Been or are playing now cuz of work. Anyway I seen the topics of beta etc and yeah it f ing feels like a unfinished product. Epic should shut down the whole TC and fire Rod for ruining the best series epic games have had. Remake this s hit and do it right !

It was a good movie but because it’s Star Wars and everyone had in there head that it was going to go one way and her parents are these people, and when none of that happened it turned into the worst movie ever made and a trash movie. Every recent high-profile Xbox Game has gone through the same thing, including Gears 4. I still remember nothing but non-stop complaints with Gears 4. Same with Halo 5, Forza 7, Forza Horizon 4. I remember there being an official forum thread of complaints about FH4’s online modes that went over 100k views if I remember correctly.
Anyways, big blockbuster game like Gears 5, and especially now it is even more accessible via Gamepass, there will be complaints, unavoidable no matter how well it comes out on release. I respect the legit complaints, nothing wrong with that, especially any Ping issues I know that’s frustrating, but personally I have been playing nonstop since launch and aside from launch day issues, it’s been great for me overall, I love the game.
I personally think it is good enough in its current state, and not to find excuses but I remember reading how this game was in development for 2.5 years, which is not that long for a big Blockbuster. YEs it needs more polish and content, some bug fixes, but I am glad it released now, I would have hated waiting another year personally speaking. Microsoft said they will keep supporting this game for a long time so I think it will continue to improve over time. If you are enjoying it, I say just have fun and keep playing, don’t pay too much attention to the negativity if it doesn’t apply to you. Cheers.

Never said it was. Guess you didn’t read the rest of my post. But that’s fine, to each their own. All I’ll say is I’m fine with people posting whatever their hearts desire, regardless of whether it may rile up some feathers or not.

Microsoft has stated, as well as Rod Fergusson, the company has no control over what The Coalition or any of Xbox Game Studios do. Thats the whole point of “creative freedom”. Deadlines and any other development related decisions are studio based not Microsoft themselves. They only fund the studios, they do not make their goals or any long term plans.
One more time, I have to post it. This is a terrible problem that they refuse to address outside of a toggle option.
