Getting Dolby Vision on Gears 5

I only get HDR 10 when turning on Gears 5. How do you enable Dolby Vision?

I only get HDR10 as well, I think it’s either one or the other. The Coalition must have went for HDR over Dolby vision.

I think this might be of interest to you?

I have dolby vision now in gears

Have you disabled hdr10 in console settings or have booth flags set?
I only start in hdr, no matter what I do

I think Dolby vision is only supported on 60 FPS May be the issue. I don’t want to downgrade frame rates for visuals.

does not work :frowning: regardless of whether 60 frames or 120 frames are selected in the game, it only starts in hdr. Thoughts?

I had to turn off 120fps in the Xbox settings in order to get Dolby Vision on my LG CX.

And how it looks? Shoud I recalibrate the HDR Settings? Dynamic Contrast on, Off or HGIG for Games?

Does the series x output at 120htz when set to Dolby vision? Or is it an update Microsoft have to do not your tv manufacture? Only saying this as my series x has all green ticks but will only output Dolby vision at 60htz not 120. HDR10 will do the full 120htz.

I’ve got LG Nanocell 2020 model.

This explains the difference between the two formats,

Tv manufacturer need to build an update.
