Thought I’d be able to cheat the system and set my console time to November 11th to play early but still got hit with the “You’re too early” message.

Hyped. Will get this soon, have it waiting, to boot on my Series X. I just hope the day one patch isn’t enormous and it includes 60fps with some extra bells and whistles.

I had that yesterday, the game is such a little tease as well. Try and start it and you really think it is going to let you play… Then right at the death it states “you are too early”

On it now really good so far 
Some very early first impressions. Gabe Diaz sounds an awful lot like Dominic Santiago. So much so i think they are the same VA. Graphics are crisp, I just wish i could zoom in my camera closer to the action to admire the work done. Third, wouldn’t it be better to put the action select for each current unit on the two triggers - instead of fumbling with the dpad?
I’ve played for about ten minutes.
I’ve only done the first two missions as focusing on Gears 5 new campaign achievements.
With Operation 5 of Gears 5 looking lackluster, I think I’ll be playing Tactics more.
Who has played this and what do you think?
I think its completely underwhelming. Its already gotten tedious and I’m only on act 2.
The strategy/gameplay mechanic is terrible. Wasteland 3 does it so much better.
Having it centered around the Gears theme doesn’t help either.
There just no soul to it.
