On the same lines, just downloaded the place holder, Two things of note, when it says you can purchase it is showing $ and not my currency.
when I checked my cheveos list via the option on the tile, it is showing my 4 unlocks on the PC version, so they do share the same list it would seem.
I recall Tactics getting a passing mention during the July 20/20 event about smart delivery, and therefore playable on the Xbox One.
Sounds good, though I’m back working in the office 5 days a week, so I’ll be slower than I’d like. Since we’ll both complete the console version easily, let’s make it fun and race to see who can complete 12 Gears games first. You’re almost done with Pop, and I just have a lot of mindless grinding in G5 to go.
I would love to download the placeholder. Just not really a fan of turn down strategy. I’m more of a turn based strategy guy.
It just occurred to me that when looking at the pre-installer, it didn’t list the Cole Train content as being available to download. I got it for PC, as doing the pre-install there before a certain date gave it. Shouldn’t that be listed for the console too?
This feels like the Schrodinger’s cat (Big Bang Theory reference) of Gears games. Until it releases on console, we can use fact-based logic to say it is both the same game/achievement list as the PC release as well as not being the same game, thus a stackable list.
At the rate the info is being officially given out, we may not know until after release
And sadly, considering they could potentially forget to activate achievements, we really could have to wait after release to know for sure.
