Can’t quit or I’ll get a penalty. And the game ain’t searching matches for me.
Just quit and come back 15 minutes later. You shouldn’t be penalized heavily. They are having issues and trying to fix it.
Quitting in queue doesn’t give you a penalty. That’s a glitch

Usually if i back out even when it’s searching it’ll say i’ll be penalized but i never receive a penalty
