Just installed the required Gears of War 4 update and now the game will NOT load. I have tried everything, short of uninstalling and reinstalling game, which I am not sure that would work and I can imagine the time it will take to do it.
I accidentally cancelled an update a few weeks ago and it uninstalled the entire game. Even at 70+ mbps it still took me hours to download again. Hope it doesn’t come to that for you, have you tried hitting a hard reset on your console to clear the cache?
how do you do a hard reset, can’t seem to find anything on the Xbox to do this.
You just hold the on button on your xbox console itself for a few seconds and it’ll blink. Once it does that, let it go and it’ll reset itself.

Did you try unplugging it, waiting for a minute, and then plugging it back in?

Just blow on it real hard.

My game hasn’t froze in 5 or 6 months but the day after the update it froze once… i dunno if its related
well as best as i can figure, Gears of War 4 has been hacked. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and it appears to try to coordinate a Horde game but immediately sends you out of the game completely. Also, look online, you can see that there is no one playing Gears 4.
