If gears were to ever make a battle royale and call the mode “Gears of War”. Imagine a big map in the locust Hollow or in the city of Sera! When playing on the locust map everyone are locust, and are cog when playing on the cog map. The gears twist would be when you land you already have your loadout as you would in regular multiplayer (the same tuning too). When it comes to looting , you can find ammo, ammo boxes, grenades, support weapons (like retros, markzas ,& pistols) extended mags, stocks, and sights(the guns will change appearance like in Tactics). The attachments will only improve accuracy (not damage). Compatible attachments will also vary per weapon. The sights will work like how the hammerburst first person “zoom” was in Gears 3 (which worked very well in my opinion). When it comes to power weapons, they will spawn in later on a timer like how it was in wingman Gears 2. They could even add vehicles which vary on the map. They could have ravens, and cog vehicles on on map while having reavers, bloodmounts, etc on the other. There are no weapons attached to the vehicles and aircrafts (like call of duty warzone) they are just meant for quick transportation that way vehicles won’t be over powered. The map would be design well enough so there’s alot of cover and places to wall bounce. The final circle would maybe be the size of raven down to avoid people hiding with boom waiting for the circle to get really small and one shot there way to victory. This is just an idea, and I feel like if executed properly it could work, and be alot of fun adding on to the gears experience. Maybe this as a new mode for Gears 6 instead of Arcade? lol What do y’all think?

A Gears staple is the infinite roadie run.
What’s the point of the storm if you can forever outrun it?
And if you’re answer to that is to disable the roadie run then my answer to that is nah
TC wouldn’t do it. Would be interesting with quads or duo’s just so many concepts. The player base isn’t there either. If Gear’s had a BR I would definitely play it but I think TC knows they are late to the BR trend and it will be a epic Failure.
A PVP mode with some PVE element’s on a Large map map also be interesting, I just Don’t think TC can deliver honestly.
I don’t think you know how an encroaching circle works ala Battle Royale style.
I’m very aware, I’m talking about how your speed is limited when the circle is enclosing in you.
Nuclear Winter, Fortnite, PUBG all have limited foot speed.
And the Gears movement simply doesn’t work like that Buster.

I hear that Fortnite and COD Warzone are great BR games for anyone who comes up with such horrible ideas to have Gears have one.
BR games are over done and the majority are garbage and full of micro transactions. Gears has been struggling since GowJ dropped to find its way back to the top and honestly I don’t think a br will do anything for the series besides burry it once and for all. New devs are doing good so hopefully gow6 will be good.

I love BR and it’s a great PvP experience when done right. Gears BR would be terrible. Doesn’t fit at all
I’ve never understood the BR is overdone statement. Its still in it’s infancy and there’s only like 3-5 of them really. In comparison to the hundreds of team deathmatch, CTF, or king of the hill variants have been rehashed over and over. BR is going to be around for awhile thankfully
