I’ve been playing this game since gears of war 2 when it came out on my xbox 360. This game has been awesome to me, pretty much grew up playing this game. Only thing im wondering is why have i not heard anything about a new gears coming out? Anyone know if they coming out with another one that would be dope considering the new xbox is out !

I would not expect GOW 6 any earlier then 2022, they will not release the same year as the new Halo game.
I think 2022 or early 2023 since a lot of big movers and shakers are coming those years. Perfect Dark, Fable, a new Mass Effect, and MW 2 remake to name some.

I would actually feel insulted by TC if they start talking about G6 anytime soon.
Not even year and a half into G5 and you’re already burying it? Being fair, TC has done a lot towards that but still. Too soon, please not a peep until 4Q 2021 at the very least.
Think about it, what will happen to G5 once G6 is confirmed to be in the works? this might the one thing I agree with Dana, no need to talk about future Gears, not for now anyway.

Considering how 2020 ended, wouldn’t surprise me if this year threw us a large enough asteroid to cause the apocalypse at the end of it.
I just love how whichever artist or whoever put this together throws the one character TC decided to off immediately without any considerations to use for something off to the right behind everyone else. All the while depicted in a defiant, for lack of a better word, pose. It’s almost like they know what a waste that was.
RE the topic - hell no to Gears 6 anytime soon, TC still has enough to sort out with 5 as is and having a two or maybe even three year gap between the games would just be way too short.

Race nor gender is even mentioned in game nor does the increased variety take away from the game at all.
Well… The first campaign is a sexist and a racist mess. And with females being forced to us. So… Gears of War is dead for me because of it. And I am also pretty pessimistic about Gears 6.
Oh well… Let’s just forget this idiotic game. Maybe I can find a much better game.

Well if you find a better game make sure to leave the forums too which is most based on a game you clearly don’t like anymore.

It’s like Disney Star Wars.
Maybe if the game was morbid & gritty it mask a lot.
But it’s a little too clean for a gears game. A lot of good concepts.
Feel they tried to hard on the jokes too. Kinda took away from my experience. If it didn’t for you I’m glad.
As for me, I’ve just been whatever about it.

Soon I believe we will hear some announcements about the next sequel but I don’t expect any release until 2022. Now that it’s a Games With Gold title, I think they want as many consumers playing it to draw some attention.
