That’s likely because people are online trying it out. Once they realize it’s still a broken mess they’ll be gone and you’ll be back to having issues.
I haven’t given up in years but I am about to give up. It’s running worse tonight than I’ve ever seen since launch. Considering how miserable launch was that’s a bold and pathetic observation.
