I know this is a long shot and with the Coalition not having proper access to Legacy titles it might not be doable. But Since Gears of War 3 and Judgement both had some stuff fixed after some slight server maintenance, and a reboot I belive, would a “simple reboot” be enough to re-activate the good old XP multiplier? I mean we gotta start somewhere, right?

They can’t even give their current game a brief XP boost for the festive season so even if they could the chances of them doing anything with the predecessors are basically zilch.

According to Octus in a dev stream a ways back, a reboot / server maintenance did restore the multipilier in the past, so it’s possible it could happen again.
There’s also the possibility that that kind of maintenance is out of TC’s control and above their head with Microsoft / Xbox. It’s all in Azure, so while TC might have ownership of the Gears code on the server, they might not have control over the servers themselves. And if that’s the case, it could mean a better chance that it will be done (at some point).

While I still hope TC gets around to giving some TLC to the legacy games, XP multipliers in both versions of Gears 2, Sybarite in Gears Judgement, Mix It Up in Gears U.E. Win10… I sadly am not holding my breath. We reported the G2 XP issues nearly 3 years ago, back when Octus was there. Brought it up again for Sera and Shawny, but no progress that we’ve heard of yet. Then again, the legacy stats issue that caused issues for G1 Seriously magically got fixed with no mention, so there’s always a chance.

Please TheCoalition bring back the 44xp mutiplier to gears 2 JP back.

But it would make sense if the XP events in all Gears games would come automatically on certain holidays, kind of a rotation.

I would really love to finally finish all the achievements in this game without having to do a bunch of boosting sessions on TA. If they could bring back any of the XP events they did in the lead up to Gears 3, that would be amazing.
