Sad to say this game is worse than 4 from the looks of it and 4 wasn’t even the best of the series . Definitely not gonna be buying from this tech test

The omen has to be changed. You can’t see ANYTHING when you’re damaged.
Also, 6 shots in the shotgun is ridiculous.
Why are you sucked into a chainsaw no matter what you’re doing? Even if you’re rolling away from the person it sucks you in. No matter what, you’re screwed. It’s dumb.
And why am I constantly stuck to walls when running passed them? It will just stick to the wall and stop me. And when I go to run and mantle over, it just hits the wall and stops. Or my character melees the wall.
I’ve also mantle kicked over and ghosted right through people and nothing happens.
Smoke doesn’t register on enemy screens. I’m just lasered through smoke on my screen and then kill cam shows zero smoke. Some times. But other times shows smokes. So it’s obviously broken.
And finally… there’s gotta be thousands and thousands of people playing this tech test. So why… WHY am I still being paired with people from Mexico, South America and Central America? Why do you refuse to region lock your damn game? I’m so sick of being paired against people with 5-6 times my ping and then some. When I sit at a steady 25-30 and you pair me against people that are 150-200… this is ■■■■■■■■.
You’re making the same stupid mistakes with Gears 5 that you did with Gears 4. Sure. Gears 5 looks good. But it plays like ■■■■. And that’s why people quit playing 4. Because it doesn’t matter how good the game looks, if it plays like ■■■■, no one is going to play it. I don’t understand why you think Gears 4 was such a success. Because there’s a bunch of foreigners that run laggy connections on ranked and then play e league matches and play like ■■■■ because they don’t have a ping advantage.
Get rid of your stupid net code that allows people to lag through shots and gives them advantages because their connection sucks. You didn’t listen with UE. You didn’t listen with 4. If you don’t listen with 5, you might as well just relocate your studio to Mexico. Because those are going to be the only people playing your game.

What is too annoying is also the problem of 99% damage when the shot is faced, or simply not marking any damage, also an error can completely reduce the shotgun magazine and fix the damage caused by the gnasher at certain distances since it destroys from afar but from near it is useless

And please fix The Spawns too
Then Epic should’ve made it shoot straight, not taken out the animation. That’s like putting out a match with a bucket of water. Devs should be able to maintain quality of life in their games without removing animations.

Hey coalition I have a request. I would love to either see a FFA game mode or do what overwatch does and matchmake based on skill and number of players in a group. For example: If me and 2 other friends play some KOTH together we should match up with people of atleast 3 or 4 on the opposite team. I would love to see the latter more because in gears 4 I’m onyx 3 and all I pair up against are either a 4 man or a full squad thus making it harder for me to move up. Thanks for all of your hard work!

its not how its worked when the gun shoots from the barrel dude…if tc can do it without impacting gameplay fine, but even a split second to center ur gun is to long in pvp combat
Fix the damage omen… you can’t see anything and take off the 3 shots for missing your active on the gnasher if you want to lower the shotty to 6 shots that’s fine but don’t punish us by only giving us 3 shots for missing an active…especially when it’s hard to get a active when your battling more than 1 guy thanks!!
Ranked not works we have won 2 Rounds and we go Down. Than we lose one game and I go UP what is that.

- KDH Spawn not fixet one team spawn every time side the hill and the other Team end of map
- Gnasher not Works again 2 Shot Black Point 97% and the enemy kill every time whit one Hit its Badly Balanced. it feels like one Team have Bazuka Gnasher and the other Team shot with Popcorn.
- Give the old Headshot sound Back !
- Sponging is still there not fixed Why not ? We lose so many Matches while the emenys not die it’s not funny

Conclusion :
You do Nothing for fair Game Play in MP If that does not change, many will not play the game.
That transition animation between the idle pose and shooting hip fire is so quick I don’t see how anyone could be bothered by it, but if it was needed then yes that transition could be removed entirety to where there would be zero delay between the idle pose and hip fire. TC could do it, but suffice to say I don’t think they will.

I think there could be an improvement with the after match report. At the end of a match when the stats are being shown. You can push be to exit to main menu. More often than not people push b automatically because other games will close the after action report. While I agree prompts asking if you are sure are annoying. It’s more annoying to be put back in main menu instead of voting and continuing in the same lobby. This issue is most noticeable when partied up with friends. If you accidentally leave then everyone has to leave the lobby and reform the party.

First I’ve played all gears of war games all 6 of them I haw pre order them but this one so far with tech test is the worst.

It’s f#+ing annoying only having six shotgun shoots you have to constantly reload it’s get annoying really really really fast specially when fighting more than one person.

Why is every weapon over power it takes 0.00001 seconds to get down with the the lancer that makes no sense fix this please.
3.The new skull that appear when your getting shot it doesn’t work it’s get in the way that’s why it hasn’t been change in the six other games.
Please Coalition don’t fix what doesn’t need to be fixed.
Last if their is no guardian I will skip this game for the first time because the game play is bad so far not really enjoyable.
• In retail version make boot camp retail
• Please change the chainsaw back to holding down “B” i cannot stress enough how difficult and annoying it can be accidentally hitting someone instead of chainsawing them, also makes chainsaw battles more difficult, please atleast make it an option.
• Inverted Omen Symbol is was to dark of red, please change back to original omen on death or tone down the red, almost lose all vision besides the exact center.
Other than that I’ve loved the tech test!
I’m not too happy about the Gnasher having only 6 rounds. It changes the aspect of PVP, also I noticed you can’t reload when using tac com. The wall bounce is inconsistent, the Gnasher tuning itself isn’t bad. This is a tech test and i understand that the main game is subject to change. The lancer is too overpowering. A reduction in lancer damage just by a little should do the trick. The recoil system is fine, the pellet hit marker is good indeed. Overall I’m looking forward to the jack drone edition of Gears 5 but please address some of those issues. Last but not least, the whole active reload with the Gnasher has got to change. Only half of your bullets if you miss the white zone of the reload is kinda bad.
Hi, so i think the game is really fun but ranked is just boring. It’s just like all of the other gears game, you bounce around and shotgun people. That takes less skill than actually having to aim and think about positioning. I thought this game would be different but it’s just all shotguns so please at least make a ranked game mode that is exactly like arcade and don’t let people spawn with the shotguns right at the start of the round. Also put the sub machine pistol in ranked.
Also the lancer is not too overpowered, these gears fan bois only use shotguns and don’t like getting gunned down trying to be a mindless idiot running to you with a shotgun
They need to remove the announcers at the end of round. Nothing makes me want to get rid of the game more than some voice telling me how much we all suck.
Gears 4 was better, please correct the gameplay. And don’t make the stupid decision yo erase main guns like hammerburst like in the Gears 4.
Correct some damefe of the guns specially the lancer, because it doesn’t make damage,
nothing to do with his predecessor.
I beg of you to take this mentality and try it for yourself.
I’m on PC and still use a controller on Gears. It’s much better for movement which is extremely important. If we were talking Halo than yeah sure but this isn’t an FPS.
