[Notebook][GeForce GTX 970M]: The GPU clock speed on some notebooks is stuck at the base clock speed and does not boost. [2683147]
[GeForce RTX 20 series][Forza Horizon 4][Gears of War 4][Gears 5]: Colored corruption may appear on some surfaces throughout the game. [200544234]
[Firefox][G-SYNC]: When G-SYNC is enabled, flickering occurs with YouTube full-screen video playback on FireFox when hovering over the timeline. [200544130]
[Control][DirectX 12 ][Pascal GPUs]: Blue-screen crash occurs pointing to nvlddmkm.sys when in-game software Ray Tracing is enabled. [200543646]

Open Issues :

[G-SYNC]: NVIDIA G-SYNC might not be enabled automatically for monitors newly approved as G-SYNC-Compatible upon updating the driver. [200544252]
    To work around, enable the monitor by opening the NVIDIA Control Panel->Display->Set Up G-SYNC page, then select the display and select Enable settings for the selected display.
[SpaceEngine]: The game crashes when launched. [2684322]
[UBOAT]: The game crashes due to memory allocation issues when launching Sandbox mode from the main menu. [2694301]
[Tom Clancy's The Division II]: The game may crash when played in DirectX 12 mode.[200406322]
[FIFA 19]: The game may crash to the desktop. [2690624]

The crash has never been tracked in the Release notes, but this package has the fully completed fix that was mentioned by Manuel Guzman.

Now that fixed drivers are on hand, is TC going to return Async Compute so that Turing boards can stretch their proverbial legs?

436.30 is messing up for me nonstop now. I’m getting the GW502 crash frequently now. It first happened twice, when I was exiting the game. Now it just happened right after the launch cinematic.

It glitches up GeForce Experience whenever it happens also, so it just loads as a thick black bar at the top with the screen dimmed, and nothing to click on. So it ends up requiring a reboot regardless. I guess I’ll revert back to 436.15 for now.

Wonder if the Control fix for pascal boards didn’t regress the game.

but then it’d be pascal only, and there are rtx users crashing more too

Guys , someone know how to fix the microphone problem? Because I speak but no one can hear me , I have fix on Gears 4 , but I can’t remember how.

If it shows the mic off icon next to your gamerpic, go into audio settings and turn Push-to-talk on and off.

In your Windows Settings in the bottom right in System Tray, under Privacy, under Microphone, do you have “Allow apps to access your microphone” turned ON? With Gears 5 Listed below, with it set to On?

Have you tried the game again via a Clean startup by using MSCONFIG to disable non-microsoft applications?:

Do you experience a CTD or hardlock?
If CTD, is there a visual anomaly on screen at the time the crash occurs?
If hardlock, is the audio still working in the background, is there garbage on screen?

this game is hard freezing at start up for 15 seconds… are you kidding me, i’m close to giving up on this game & the devs… similiar issue from gears 4 almost similiar … this is ridiculous

You on driver 436.30? If so, revert back to 436.15.
