are you using the card vertically in this chassis? the riser might not be up to grade.
downgrade icue to 3.18 or earlier (RGB Ram + ICUE 3.19 = Interrupt hell)
Riser quality was a factor with Pascal having stuttering and video decoding lockups, with RTX its worse with RT features getting hangs and bsods.
not using it vertically, its horizontal on the mobo like normal. Also yes I found out about the iCUE 3.19 problem recently, after I reformatted lol. I guess I just need to wait till Tuesday and pray that the New nvidia driver works. I have exhausted all possibilities and troubleshooted just about everything.
i’m just not sure if theres any fixes relevant to 2080s crashing, even in the gow4 thread 2080 crashes were unknown.

No crash fix???
The crash has never been tracked in the Release notes, but this package has the fully completed fix that was mentioned by Manuel Guzman.
Now that fixed drivers are on hand, is TC going to return Async Compute so that Turing boards can stretch their proverbial legs?
436.30 is messing up for me nonstop now. I’m getting the GW502 crash frequently now. It first happened twice, when I was exiting the game. Now it just happened right after the launch cinematic.
It glitches up GeForce Experience whenever it happens also, so it just loads as a thick black bar at the top with the screen dimmed, and nothing to click on. So it ends up requiring a reboot regardless. I guess I’ll revert back to 436.15 for now.
Wonder if the Control fix for pascal boards didn’t regress the game.
but then it’d be pascal only, and there are rtx users crashing more too
Did you get the September 10th Cumulative update?
Yea, I was wondering about the Cumulative update. 436.15 still going strong so far though.
alright, cool.
Edited:
Pix cannot be used on GOW5 due to EAC, gg devs.
So with the 436.15 you have no crash right?
Thanks, I was looking for this info. I’ll stick with 436.15, Zero crashes for me so far.
With the 436.15 no crash , 436.30 error GW502 when I start the game
Yea, still no crashes on 436.15. I hope this doesn’t become the new 382.53 driver.
Guys , someone know how to fix the microphone problem? Because I speak but no one can hear me , I have fix on Gears 4 , but I can’t remember how.
If it shows the mic off icon next to your gamerpic, go into audio settings and turn Push-to-talk on and off.
Not work for me , the microphone icon is on , but in game don’t work
In your Windows Settings in the bottom right in System Tray, under Privacy, under Microphone, do you have “Allow apps to access your microphone” turned ON? With Gears 5 Listed below, with it set to On?
