I noticed a bug on the PC version, when going into text chat (which is bound to the “U” key), it’ll type U in the text box.

PC:
Roadie Run = Shift
Take Cover = Space bar
When I “Up A” out of cover and want to get into Roadie Run with Shift, you also have to press Spacebar.
As soon as you let go of Spacebar, the Roadie Run stops.
In Gears 4 it works as intended. After an “Up A” you only have to press “Shift” to sprint.

When I finish a match in Escalation on District and king of the hill on training grounds it said an error has occurred while retrieving the match results the error code is 0x00000c46 gathering results with loading symbol
Well just got kicked from a Ranked Match for I don’t know what reason but here is proof with screenshots

- lighting graphic errors in ~30% of the games (starts at the countdown and remains the whole game)
In the bottom area a light(green, white, blue…) appears and it influence the bottom part of the screen like a fog.
Gain enough skill points to rank up and down at the same time?

This happens to me every single Kill Cam replay. What it seems is happening is it shows the accurate inputs of players up until the moment you are killed, then it gets stuck on that last input everyone was pressing for the rest of the replay video.
That’s why it looks just like when you are lagging out. With people running into walls, and shooting continuosly. If someone was shooting as you died, they continue shooting, if they were walking backwards, they keep walking backwards. When they keep shooting, sometimes it glitches and you hear them shooting really loudly for a few seconds after you respawn.
I’ve seen TheRazoredEdge play and die and the Kill Cam look right, where players actually are playing regular after he dies for the rest of the vid, so I don’t get it. It’s never worked right for me, always is broken the moment it shows me die until the end of the replay.
Oh i just heared the Windows disconnecting sound… i just tried to launch the ranking game and when it searched for players it just diconnected my network card… the first match for me was pretty good… to bad that i cant test it anymore…

I had some very minor issues yesterday but nothing to cry about.
However after playing one match of KOTH this morning (1140ish), match worked fine but then afterwards I get an 0x801901f4 error. Tried to simply find a match again and rebooted.
I’m in UK playing Xbox one if that helps.

In Gears4 i use space key for roadie run and left Alt to go in cover. It works flawlessly there. But in Gears5 it seems not to work properly (Sometimes it works for a moment). Example: When i’m in cover at a corner and want to roady run out of it i have to press left Alt and spacebar together. It doesnt work most of the time. The game does not accept my multi button press. I have a mechanical Keyboard. Its not my hardware. I tested other key maps too.
I hope it’s just a bug. Please TC fix it till release

Some bugs I’ve specifically encountered in ARCADE - Xbox One S
- Inability to cache in Eliminations for weapons, changing character does not fix this.
- Footsteps (audio) are sometimes non existent.
- After vaulting over cover I’ll be stuck in the running animation, this can be fixed by taking cover again.
- Killcams sometimes end before I’ve been killed, and sometimes don’t even appear.

Froze whole PC needed a hard reset
I’ve been incredibly frustrated at not being able to play Gears 4 for about a year, so for that to carry over and be a WORSE crash is ridiculous.

The Kill Cam is laggy, just shows all players nearby lagging out walking straight forward into walls and such
Here’s just a few I have encountered.
- I was able to see enemies’ planted grenades/smokes through walls while using the tac com.
- One of my teammates quit while playing KOTH but I could still see their character outline while using tac com.
- When enemies throw grenades I dont hear the audio for it when it hits and bounces on the ground.
This was all on xbox
i have come across a few issues when playing, and things that could potentially be improved on. I will class them as either PROBLEM, MISTAKE, OPINION and i will try to back them up with links to videos/pictures. This is all taken from Xbox One.
PROBLEM - Have played well over 5 matches of KOTH and still haven’t received a Rank eventually came through after about 8 games.
PROBLEM - Some times an issue when you press ‘Play’ to search for a game it says ‘Updating Playlists’ then says ‘Please Wait’ and the returns to the list of game modes to press ‘Play’ Again

PROBLEM - When I have loaded into a lobby sometimes players are missing their character not sure if that is because they are choosing one?
PROBLEM - Match results mostly fail retrieving i get the error message ‘An error occurred while retrieving the match results’ (0x00000c46)

PROBLEM - I fail to join games a lot but think you are aware of this already
PROBLEM - Voting takes too long when choosing a map, and when the countdown has reached 0 there is still about 10 seconds before it continues onto the game.
PROBLEM - Torque and Grenade sounds - the grenade and torque bow sounds are completely messed up, doesn’t matter where the enemies are on the map, if they are charging up a torque bow or throwing a grenade/shock they all sound as if it is right next to you, and this throws me off completely as i think they are right next me but in fact they are over the other side of the map so im diving to get out of the way of a nade that would never killed me anyway.
PROBLEM - Quite a few time sit has errors trying to get match results

OPINION / PROBLEM - Too many times that lobbies are dissolving especially for a brand new game, make it like gears 2/3 where you see people joining the lobby and if they back out it just continues searching and doesn’t kick everyone out to just start again

PROBLEM? - Escalation - when choosing a weapon i can’t seem to press ‘A’ and i’m over the weapon i want to choose and i just have to wait until the end of the timer for it to be placed.
MISTAKE - spelling mistake in Options > Game > HUD Health Bars ‘Show health bars above enemies in Camapign, Escape and Horde.’

MISTAKE - the grenades have a active reload cooler next to them
OPINION - There is still loads of rolling happening when try to take cover to navigate around the map quickly
OPINION - The Overkill is massively overpowered compared to gears 4, basically one shot from bout 10 metres can kill you.

OPINION - The Omen - to be honest I will always prefer the old omen for health indication, i find this omen at times very distracting when in a fight and when i go full red at times i think i have actually died and then realise i am actually still alive, its just off putting.
OPINION - Back button - before you would use the back button to view the score board and the pressing B would allow you to look at the map, but now its the back button for both? it weird because whenever i go to view the scoreboard im always looking at the map, its slightly annoying would be nice if this was reverted to the previous gears games.
OPINION - there doesn’t seem to be alot of blood in this gears so far, there is a lot of gibbing but it isn’t as bloody as i would have hoped it to be, and when you head shot someone they still gib, i miss it when they just stand or stay still for a couple of seconds whilst blood is pis**** out of their head and then slowly collapse to the floor.
OPINION - I feel like the highest sensitivity is still to slow
OPINION - I Don’t like the shotgun with 6 pellets, im always having to run away to reload because of for get there is only 6 pellets when all of the other gears games there were 8.
EDIT - OPINION - i find it hard to tell when I have downed someone, I’m not sure if it is just me, but when you’ve down someone in gears 3/4 a ‘50’ would pop up in the middle of the screen, it’s very subtle but would confirm I got the down without me having to look at the kill feed, I know you have the kill feed but in some situations but you’re aren’t always looking at the kill feed.
I will edit this as i continue playing i hope this helps far, i have tried to get as many clips for the issues/opinions i have had.
So it’s day three of the tech test… and I still can’t play on my account. This is truly blowing my mind now. And noooobody else is having this problem!? I find it hard to believe that I am the only one having this problem I have uninstalled and reinstalled three times and nothing. Same error message that has no results for it 0x801901f4 is the error code I keep getting everytime I let it search for exactly one minute everytime. Please help.
PC Issue: Sound stuttering. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and I still get the same problem each time.
