-After a lobby dissolves the party will struggle to reconnect, Players will not be able to start a game due to a player being in a match despite everyone being in a lobby, Leaving the party and rejoining does not resolve this isn’t, Neither does having another member host the party. We’ve gotten around this by restarting the Tech test though it’s unclear wether everyone needs to restart.

-Server Favoritism seems to be back, PLEASE FIX. Note- “Server favoritism” is a term reserved for players that you seem to be lagging behind against. To give an understandable example- You would approach a player and fire your gnasher, The enemy would do the same- However you are the one who dies and the kill cam does not track the shot you fired as you died “Before” you fired it. While it’s hard to tell without kill cams this was a rampant problem in Gears 4 and even Halo 5 as they may use the same servers. I would imagine they are server hoppers as they are always playing to that advantage.

System: PC
Issue: Mouse clics not responding.
Description: If you aim to many times in a short period of time the mouse clics stop responding, both aim and shoot stop responding but my mouse movement is responding.
This is by far the worst bug of all because i cant shoot for about 5 seconds. Sometimes with a melee, or switching weapons let me shoot again. But its too much time and in the end you get killed when close quarters.

On PC, everyone could apparently hear me in the pregame lobby and game even though it didn’t show my mic loving. I had push to talk on, but it didn’t work. Turns out they could hear me because “voice activation” was on. WHY is that on by default??? And why didn’t it show my mic lighting up when they could hear me?

Your probably already aware but encountered a few issues on the Xbox one gears 5 tech test

•rankings don’t seem to be working (not a main issue I know)
•Some times Wait time for match’s are very long like 20-30 mins and even boots you out sometimes back to main menu
• occasionally the dead are just standing inplace no name or anything just stood there
•the kill cam glitches out a lot
•some times people glitch out and just run into walls
•get a error loading results after a match sometimes

Other than that it’s been great so far

Can queue up for king of the hill but game gets stuck at loading map screen

Game Blue Screen of Death my Alienware R4 15 laptop.

It used to be at first but I once I get past the window that syncs my game information, a few seconds later during the loading, it hangs and I have to force reset it. If I leave it there a DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION Blue screen will pop up. I can’t basically play Gears on my laptop.

NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB RAM
Core i5 8300H
8GB RAM
256GB NVME Samsung SSD
Win 10 build: 18362.239

Then on my desktop, I get a pop up basically warning me with the following:

"We have detected that you may encounter problems playing the Game. Your PC doesn’t meet the minimum requirements in the following area;

The installed NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics driver has known compatability problems. Please visit the graphics card manufacturer to update to the latest driver.

NVIDIA GForce GTX 1070 - 430.86 is installed.

So, please, don’t tell me you’re going to make your customers have to upgrade their systems when basically every other game in existence runs fine, even other Unreal Engine Games, what does Gears 4 and 5 have that they won’t run properly on PASCAL cards?

Like I’m worried that now all the effor is going to AMD and screw NVIDIA owners since they’re forced to upgrade, and not just that, YOU GUYS ARE LAUNCHING GAMES ON PC, look at the Steam Graphics Card Demographics for example:

the 10XX series cards are the most used, WHY has this not been a priority? I love you to death guys but this need to be dealt with. I have a gaming laptop that can’t pay the game and a Desktop that will be crashing with the game just Like Gears 4 did, thank god I got an Xbox one X but still the input latency is so big, it’s not fun.

I hope you guys are able to fix this or give a response on the matter because I was looking forward on playing on PC because I did ran the game on my desktop and I excellent performance results and I’ve been working towards upgrading my rig but there’s a lot of people still with the 10XX series and having the game freeze over and over and basically unplayable like Gears 4…

NOTE: Both my machines had a month old drivers, I updated them and same results. Same issues as Gear 4 as well.

Audio goes silent and stops tracking during matches.

Ranked matches are not counting either - don’t register on server.

Now i just got a game security violation and the game closed…when i got back in the first round that loaded was a stalemate as soon as it started

Don’t know if it’s a glitch or a lag or controller issue, but just in case: sometimes when I hold the RB button, it does the reload rather than rev the chainsaw.

I jumped into a lobby for king of the hill and was loading into the map when the lobby suddenly dissolved bringing me back to the main menu and now I’ve been suspended for 30 minutes on Xbox one.

Red and Blue?

That way we know which side threw them and from what general direction.

Playing on Xbox One

Playing Ranked on King of the hill. After playing a match, option opens up to keep playing, I played two more game matches but those game matches did not register towards placement. I have to back out and select again, ranked KOH and back out after the match to count towards placement.

Thanks for the hard work and updates for us all!

There is a soft lock in the boot camp tutorial, if on insane and during the revive tutorial, Dave will “Surprise” the player by shocking them, and if on insane it will just outright kill the player rather than put them in DBNO, restarting from last checkpoint over and over.

Going DBNO doesn’t let you move at all. It’s like it’s stuck and the character stutters. Killcam is buggy . And when I die the characters are like lagging and running into projectiles.

  • why high ping win again
  • your kill cam - show me absolute trash
  • sponge bob shots again
  • your servers is trash like in GOW4
  • where is 60hz?
    I do not see the difference between GOW4 and GOW5
    laggy, sponge, ping, old servers - you did nothing
