Well, it’s about time that they could make use of Xbox One X’s power.
I wouldn’t mind if my frame rate dropped to compensate for 4-players co-op.
I loved playing with three others in Gears 3 Campaign.

So they are actually going to try to explain the locust and myrrah origins? After all this time? This can have a big impact on the fanbase, this topic have always been an issue, due to all the plotholes and bad writing in the the locust’s origins theories out there. I believe they will go with this:
Marcus goes with Kait to the new hope facility
Marcus might already know everything about Myrrah and the locust, from the info in Adam’s disk
New hope facility is where Myrrah and locust come from.
Kait will find out the how it started and will want to continue Myrrah’s will
Swarm queen?
They will probably give some sad backstory to the locust origins
Also they actually made JD look badass in this one and now he is not the main character anymore why dammit.
I think after Kait’s betrayal we will play as JD
anybody else feel kinda un worried when she pulled the snub on him at the end of the trailer? like yea you got the drop on him, but youre gonna need to shoot him like 9 times just for a dbno.

scion wearing what looks to be a Theron Mask
Kait had 2 different armor sets, one for the snow that looked amazing, and a different one. It will probably automatically change depending on point in the campaign. Also new swarm variant takes control of DBs bc their light turned from blue to red. I hope multiplayer map design is way better this time around, and will have an interesting setting like the snowy area or forest in this trailer. Graphics were amazing and i hope their are some mp maps with that kind of lighting on the PC version. Not really that hyped but i am glad it was anounced. Hope to hear about multiplayer soon

Didn’t notice the Theron Mask, but I think it would be called something like ‘Scion Butcher’.
Kait swinging that mace on a pack of Juvies was pure badass, gore overload.

Think they are bringing melee weapons in on this installment? Would that add to multiplayer?
I don’t think it’s practical in Versus, maybe could be used from dropped (that enemy) in Horde.
Well, there was Elemental Cleavers on Gears 3 Force of Nature Maps.
They were used in Versus too, so could work.
But most people might not pick up.
I also wonder if that Scion would drop two Mace Weapons, rather than one.
and flamethrowers i hope!!
Both would be the ultimate lag comp equalizer.
Game looks absolutely phenomenal. It’s pretty insane what TC has been in able to do in only a couple years.

I don’t know if anyone noticed JD’s beard looked Grey? How many years after Gears 4?
Honestly, i’m glad they gave JD more of a personality and now he actually looks badass. Can’t say much about the multiplayer so i’ll have to wait and see, it looks okay. If they fix the versus and add a whole bunch of modes and one weapon tuning i will probably spend a lot more time and money on this game. Please add back wingman beast mode make horde work properly, and add in one weapon tuning. If this happens this game may actually be good. Still pretty early though so hopefully there is a beta and they listen to the fanbase.
I think its only a few months. Gears 4 even looked like it was set during autumn.
He looks more like his father with the beard. Which is a good thing imo.
