I WAS super hyped for Operation 3 and trying Gridiron…
Then I discovered Guardian was being removed from Ranked… im going back to COD Warzone see ya’ll in Operation 4 when Hopefully Guardian is back

Well if you’re not matched up with a team who are:
-Brand New
-Don’t Play Objective
-Rush In. Die, Repeat
-Pick a Weapon, Backpack it
-Running to a 5 point hill while everyone is on next
-Surround a clear hill, not breaking it.
-Holding a shotgun, in cover, doing nothing.
-Don’t Mark.
-AFK
-Quitters
Then,
Usually the hit detection is poor and causing issues.

See im like you in mainly playing one mode in Ranked, but instead of KOTH it was Guardian for me… I dont mind TDM, but 90% of the time I’m playing Guardian… I hate KOTH… to each their own, but Im also a solo player that always gets sattled with teammates who dont know what the objective is… this when you’re constantly the ONLY person going for ring against a 5 stack guarding it… you’d stop playing KOTH too lol
But seriously Guardian is it for me, Gridiron I would of gave a chance to possibly be my next fav mode… but since they screwed me out of Guardian they can kiss my ■■■ on playing it at all until they fix that ■■■■■■■■ decision.

Spawns. At least that’s the reason IMO. Completely ruins games at times. You can kill a team and they’re instantly back before you’ve even gotten a second or two on the hill.
Completely agree, I can’t play it in Gears 5, it feels too chaotic.
The spawn are bad as well

I feel the same way. I’m more of a Guardian player even if my playtime shows otherwise. I stopped playing KotH for the most part months ago. Guardian is my go to mode during the week and I only play KotH with a certain group of friends.

Indeed. I can find a Guardian game in less than a minute. It takes much longer to find an Escalation game, if i can even find one.
Nobody plays escalation except pros or wannabe pros and there aren’t a ton of those.

If TC show me 100% proof that Guardian has less people playing than Escalation then i would accept it being removed from Ranked. But let’s be real here if i’m waiting 2 minutes for a Guardian match and 60+ minutes for an Escalation match at peak times, then there’s no way in hell Failation has more players than Guardian.
Need some stats to back these things up TC, if Gears 5 has taught me anything it’s not to just take their word for it.

that Super Fast respawn as small as a change it is changes the gameplay alot, more leaders are pushing more than ever or staying in middle of map so his team mates can push quicker after quick respawn
Wait so tc spat in our faces by not including exe ranked at the start, then wiped it off, only to do it again?
I really don’t care if no one plays exe, it has to be on the list or this just isn’t gears anymore.
TC need to focus on a way to let us search for MULTIPLE ranked gametypes at once, like other games do, and not remove them from the playlist.
No one plays titanfalls elimination mode but the game hasn;t ever stopped me searching for it and getting the odd game. Why can’t you just be the same TC?

I never minded it… I just didn’t play it much cause I can never find a match for it which is why I cant fault them for choosing exe (but like many have pointed out, my Guardian is WAY easier to find matches) the only problem I ever had with exe is waiting half an hour(slight exageration) to play again after you die cause everyone else is just camping… Gridiron seems to be a good solid replacement that solves that issue… but I wont know for awhile how Gridiron plays
I wont know cause Im boycotting… Im sacrificing the sick Armored Ronnin Kantus and everything else in the Operation 3 Tour of Duty cause I REFUSE to play a single game until Guardian comes back.
I noticed that. One part of me liked the chaos. The other part of me was a little overwhelmed lol

I loved it, the fast respawn adrenaline, it changed up the gameplay where leaders usually hide at inital spawn areas to moving with the team and taking cover around the map
Execution died in Gears 3 when Epic decided to add TDM.
100% agree but at the end of the day TC would never show us that their Esports mode is trash and no one really wants to play it, I doubt even the pro do

Yo when I heard about escalation I was like dang a whole mode based on a single map? Disappointment.
Gears 3 killed any love I had for the map Escalation. Definitely not a respawn map
