Absolutely ridiculous worked all day came looking forward to running a round of execution when I got home and it’s gone!!! This is terrible it is the original game mode and the only one I play except the occasional guardian which was also removed from ranked!!! Very disappointed in this and I’m uninstalling the game now.
I want my money back you removed guardian and execution the only two game modes I played done with this game …uninstalling now
Bring back ranked execution. It’s all I love in gears. Why why why

On that note. 5hrs of 2v2 gnasher is actually a decent chunk of games played
I finally played one match of KotH since the update and I’m done already. I am not sure how I can use a Longshot and get 4 headshots on enemies, whom aren’t moving at all mind you, and get no hit marker. The other weapons weren’t any better so it was a long match of lag and unacceptable annoyances.
I’m ready for some more Guardian. Half way into a match of KotH and I was already done due to the lag.
@the-coalition, this has to be some sort of April Fools joke, right? It’s a good one. Now change it back.

I always found a guardian match under one minute. I tried finding a match in escalation, 30 minutes in I just left the search for matchmaking. TC does not know what they are doing, they should hand GoW back the epic games.
The problem is I want to play guardian consecutively.

@Nineteenth_Hour I’d be down for mercenary. It gets really old as a random, queing with randos, then drawing stacked teams. Its hard to rank up sometimes when you have people that would much prefer to play TDM in KOTH. Or kids that have no idea that KOTH is an objective based, team game. I know we are in a state of flux, with ranked resetting. But my last 4 or 5 matches, the matchmaking hasn’t bern very fair. Its hard to do much of anything when the otber team is loaded, and communicates. No matter what , direction you go in, your in crossfire, while the 4th runs off and grabs drags, powers weapons etc. Im either getting sniped by an embar or long shot, blown up with a frag, smoked with a buzzkill or tri shot, dropped with a drop shot or a Boomshoots, or my very favorite…finally getting a player by himself in a 1 v 1, getting them downed, only to then get shot in the back by his teammate. Good times. Honestly, sometimes I wish they removed all the power weapons and ground pickups in KOTH. Make it just about the objective and your Load out is the same as everyone else’s. Power weapons only make things so much harder when you que with randos…imo
Gears of war has been my outlet in the hardest of times. Execution has been my go to and only gamemode of choice do to the adrenalin rush and unforgivable conditions. Ive bought every gears since 2006 and taking away exe has crushed the soul of gears of war and its most dedicated og players. This was an awful decision by the coalition

I’m not happy guardian has gone and execution, I want them both back, they are the only game modes I played, I like gridiron that mode is pretty kl but please bring back guardian, most people like tdm, I get that but personally I don’t, and guardian has been in since gears 2, please bring it back

@Krylon_Blue game to me was very laggy, even with acceptable ping ranges.
I’m not surprised — the servers are obviously overloaded which I find hilarious to this day. Azure operates in a way that should allow them to prevent this but Gears is always like “hold my beer”.

I used to find execution matches anytime past 1:00pm PT. And it would take less then 1 minute. Idk why they act like no one played it. I hat a joke these clowns are
I have one question maybe someone can answer. Gears 5 was released with execution. How did people complain to get it back. Is there a website I can go to and leave a review ? A number I can call ?
