Hey since Gridiron is coming to ranked let me ask this:
Does the current Gridiron playlist count for the Weekly Events medals?
Agreed, though FFA is an exception, but that’s objective if you don’t like FFA

I dont think so, Ive been playing a ton of Gridiron, gotten 4 of the 6 medals for that (last one is impossible til they do the update they mentioned… and the other I find hard forcing myself to be a muskrat lol) but haven’t gotten anything in the versus event section

Thank you. There is no clear communication on when an event will count as a weekly versus event.

I gave gridiron a chance, it’s fun but gets old quick. Need guardian back ASAP! Only mode that really felt like there was some strategy involved. Reducing it to what it’s become is just utter nonsense. Not to mention that when you join a ranked game of anything it seems like you can’t even get a solid match without the other team quitting, and I mean the whole team.

Ya like I said in the dev stream Id be ok with it being in quickplay prefer Ranked, but I can tolerate quickplay if it had its own list option… as much as I hate KOTH, I can unbiasedly admit it’s more popular, so having it in same playlist is a shot in the foot, why I don’t even do that playlist,

Not sure, everything about this update as far as the playlists go just makes no sense. And adding it to quick play is just bogus, every new person to this game plays TDM and they all go to quick play. It all but assures us a lengthy way to actually get guardian, and then when you get it you better hope that there are other guardian players there to keep it active.

you can now leave matches in the option menu for ranked? sha and monkey’s may…
can you even get banned anymore? maybe that’s why nobody plays everyone was banned before lol
Gridiron has to be put into Ranked ASAP. It has the potential to be extremely fun and competitive but it’s totally ruined by the amount of quitters. Can’t think of many matches that have started or ended 5v5. It’s usually 1 v 3, 3 v 5, etc. With an average of two players straight from game pass. Matches are usually 14-0s or end due to an entire team quitting. This is the one thing that is stopping me from playing it.
As for VS in general, the removal of Guardian and recent weapon tunings has all but pushed me into Horde exclusively. The Lancer is far, far too powerful now with its magazine increase, active reload time decrease and flashbang removal. KOTH is a bloody nightmare on almost every map with these MLG legit 1337 (leet) lancer setups. As for the Gnasher… well, I don’t like it. Decreasing the gib range was IMO one the best changes made to Gears 5, but now that’s been axed. Why? Now we’re back to people bot walking and getting one shots from stupid amounts of distance.

Not much fun has been had on Vs recently. 2v2 has become a crapshoot again with this ridiculous gib range, Guardian’s gone, and the Lancer is stupid powerful. Oh and Pahanu sucks lol.
I also can’t put my finger on it, but ever since TU5 dropped I feel like my Gears mojo has been stripped away. My shots aren’t landing when I feel like they should, I’m getting constant 80 - 95% in 4, and I just feel so clunky compared to before.

I can’t bounce. I can’t shoot. I’m sticking to walls more than Spider-Man could ever dream of. But I’m being one shot by the enemy from distances that wouldn’t do 1% damage. 
personally i hope they actually put in the cool down for the wall bounce which seemed like they never did! but on another note nobody is complaining about the active reload is gone for shotgun? 6 games and it’s finally gone and pointless to active…i guess speed for some weapons…
Servers under load. Give it a few weeks then come back.
damn i wonder how many hours i have played guardian for. i should have checked before I uninstalled the game and went back to Gears 4.

This is ridiculous, bring execution back. Its a staple of the franchise! Take out guardian for all I care, I look it but execution is supreme! Please care about your fans devs! If not execution because lack of players, make it dodgeball. I am positive that would have more players.

Is it me, or did they lower the gear point entry for Diamond matches? (From 2000 down to 1700 now)
