Yeah, PvP is beyond repair to me.
Others are welcome to their, different opinion.

On the contrary pretty much any game that puts out content after launch has large changes to core mechanics in response to complaints. TC make plenty of mistakes and have some bad communication issues but lets not get hung up on what is pretty much standard for any ongoing game.
The gears community is split and TC are in a situation where they can’t win, they either listen to complaints and try to adjust things or they listen to people who are tired of changes and get complained at because they are ignoring feedback.
As for the game modes you seem to have missed my point, I agree there is a serious lack of variety that does not mean you should go and call what little there is “garbage” as the other poster did, that just divides the community.
Sounds real familiar, doesnt it. Lol
The game modes are garbage though! Lol the only good ranked game mode is king of the hill. TDM would be fine if it allowed full teams. I was initially very excited for op5 but almost immediately lost interest when they announced the ranked game modes.
I get that games make changes throughout their lifecycle, but this game seems to be on a whole other level. The lancer and gnasher have been around for almost 15 years! Why is it so difficult to just keep a somewhat consistent tuning for two weapons? I actually don’t mind the weapon balancing how it is now (even though I’m sure many still ***** about it…).
Maybe learn to spell if you’re gonna name call… and I wouldn’t be waiting alone for Gears 6 lmao that’s very obvious
absolutely agree and i know lots of people do too
i have no clue if TC is even aware of these things
The single life mosh-put mode in quick play was cool but nowhere near enough people played it, took me so long to find a game. Would probably have more luck in ranked do we think? Or just a specific single life mode? It really didn’t seem to get the numbers anyways. Same as I’d welcome escalation back into ranked as it was a more tactical KOTH.
They did everything possible to kill single life modes. You got fewer XP (so it takes longer to re-up), you get less kills and less assists (compared to KotH, important for those who Care about achievements), matchmaking takes longer, … I still think that single life game modes are more fun and people still want it (CS:GO, Valorant, Rogue Company, … are all a huge success), but people want incentives and in Gears you only have them for KotH.
Arms Race was awful imo, I’m still waiting for ranked Guardian to come back.
Nothing like getting drunk playing arms race haha…
I would need to be drunk to play that lol.
They should add a game mode with that holds more teams of 4, with additional cog/swarm-locust equipment, etc to use. Example Locust would have a beast rider, a larger Kantus with more health/special ability’s? Why couldn’t there be more added to PvP gameplay to make it more interesting? silverback? able to actually use a warden with the two hammer weapons? Come on, the game has potential, make the movement more dark and give each character a special ability based on their history through the lore? where there’s more shadows and dark spaces making the character stealthy?
The Hivemind hates Judgment, which pretty much evolved around this premise with Overrun. Thank all these people who got filtered back then.
If they left the controls alone, Judgement would have been WAY better. That is the only thing I didn’t like about it which I am guessing is the main reason people didn’t like it.
Stupid reason imo. I always enjoy the dedicated nade-button when going back to play through the campaign. And back when it released I wasted countless hours playing Overrun. Such a great mode, almost on par with Escape.
It took some getting used to but yes, Overrun was a lot of fun. The dedicated grenade button was interesting but I found myself accidentally throwing it when trying to pull the Tac Com up. But when I got used to it, it was mostly fine. But going back to it is tricky since it is so different compared to what I am used to.
I kinda understand that, but after playing so many games I personally can adapt pretty quickly to new control-schemes.
I still will never understand the hate Judgment got and still gets. Like I said, Overrun was a blast, much better than Horde in 3, PvP was a lot of fun and had a lot of great maps. And the campaign is probably the best in the franchise since PCF made it very arcade-y, making replaying it a lot of fun.
UK here pretty much very low ping most of the time but theres problems deeper than that that makes it feel laggy…netcode.
In regards to g4 I think they shut down alot of the servers and your connected to something far far away just like most of gears player hopes
Hear hear
Guardian would be a great addition to ranked and the player base seems to be there, I can always find a game no probs.
Second that, it’s a good team based mode
