Removing the updates did nothing unfortunately :cry:

I found a “solution”. I put an old version of AMD drivers (Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.4.1, released in April 2019). I played for 5 hours last night with no crash at all.

Had no crashes but frequent hitching, updated to the 436.30 driver for Nvidia and now I get crashes once an hour minimum. GTX 1070

Dude, I’m having the same issues. Just started happening to me a couple days ago. Thought it was my PC at first until I googled it.

Same for me too! It is literally painful to try and complete the campaign on co-op. I have a Geforce RTX 2070 with an i9 processor and this game crashes every 20 or 30 minutes.

If you installed latest 436.30 driver, try reverting to 436.15 the latest “game ready” driver has issues.

I haven’t crashed on my rtx 2060 since day one.

Today it BSOD’d my PC twice within a 30 min timeframe.

I fought through a year of this BS with gears 4 and I don’t think I’m willing to do it again with 5. Especially as it was never fixed in 4.

I literally haven’t had this happen with any other game on pc. It’s ridiculous

Ive had consistent crashes since last week. The COG spinning freezes and video is lost before reaching the menu. PC requires a hard reboot. Maybe worse with HDR enabled .

No other AAA game I can remember has been this bad and with no feedback or fixes from Devs.

i have different specs on my Xidax. same error code tho, every other game works fine, Gears 5,Gears of War 4==DODO JS

The fact they have not responded at all says everything. Literally the only game I have said that is unplayable.
