Gears 5 pc crashing and reboots after coalition screen

Hi guys. All of a sudden gears 5 doesn’t get past the opening load screen and just reboots. This happened as operation 6 launched.

I’m running the game via steam on a amd 5800x with 3080 and drivers are upto date.

Really annoying and rolling back drivers doesn’t seem to do anything

Any help or any experience of this before?

I suffered something like that in the past. The problem in my case was due to Avast, who was blocking the game as if it was a virus. I added it to the exceptions and then the game run well again.

PC - Gears 5 is crashing just after the Coalition loading screen. 7/19/20

I use ESET will give it a go when I get in
