Oh also, had absolutely zero issues with the tech test. No crashing, no hardlocking, nothing. Got me cautiously optimistic for the future.

In long Koth matches my FPS would decrease a fair bit, but nothing as drastic as that!
Yeah it was pretty brutal. Dont get it though. I had matches on the same map that were completely smooth. I checked to see if i had anything weird going on in the background but it was all the Tech Test. Only thing i can think maybe is the background recording. I recently bumped that up to 60 fps and high quality (the 30 second clip recordings).

I’ve never had a drop from 144 in MP.
I can hit 180 - 240 FPS if I uncap.
Perhaps it is CPU intensive due to not having final optimisation.
Im up with you but sometimes would dip as low as 115-130 towards the end of the third round (if it was required)
Nothing as drastic as the other bloke but still annoying.

Hopefully its just an optimization thing. Otherwise the game is basically unplayable for me.

Yeah,
I’ve never had a dip tbh below 144.
I even turned on Gore because it still kept the 144 which I was surprised about.
I mean i might have to play with FOV/Depth of Field settings. There is a lot of background detail, but still those are ridiculous dips. Even during the benchmark i posted in 1080 there is a cpu dip down into 50 fps. I dunno that benchmark is only 80 FOV and Medium Depth of Field.
Was that at the very start of the benchmark?
There is one 8 seconds and then at 15 seconds.

Because Gears 4 ran exceptionally well on SLi and I wanted to play 4K 144Hz and that’s the only way possible 
Also,
If I do a build, it has to the best you can get at that particular time!
Next upgrade will be next year when the 3080 Ti is out and then full rebuild in time for Gears 6.
