I’ve downloaded QuickCPU and to my surprise my cores were already unparked, but my GHz was going all over the place. Gonna try and get another benchmark now to see how it goes.

Ok you have the latest nvidia driver? Everyone is saying the new one from the 23rd is helping.

Yep. 431.60 from the 23rd, aka my birthday.

Ended up making no difference for me sadly. Not that I am complaining about the performance.

Ah…hope i get home early enough to play a little more and run those benchmarks tomorrow .

Couldn’t even complete a third benchmark. GW502 in the main menu at first, then another GW502 smack dab right after the razorhail begins

QuickCPU only gave me like 5-10 extra frames at most so it’s nothing much to celebrate, though one of the bound values(didn’t catch which one) went to 43% so there’s definitely a change in performance somewhere.

Edit: Have used both QuickCPU and MSI Afterburner now, time to see if they make any difference.
Edit 2: Benchmark completed, but PC hard froze once back in the menu thus making me lose the results. CPU framerate (game) went up by about 30 FPS though if memory serves!

Not heard of QuickCPU.

What do you have afterburner doing?

I find Gears 4 and 5 do not like Overclocks much.

Every day is one less day left to live if you are making it to the next :eyes:

Updated OP with my new Benchmark:

Almost as good as mine

Still a lot of demand on the CPU compared to Gears 4.

Oh that was no OC.

This is my small OC one and I’ll be playing MP no OC (not needed) and SP with OC to get max performance:

But what I mean to say is,

I win!!!

Could just be optimisation.

See benchmark below in 1080. Let me know if you want me to run anything else.

I can’t wait to re-run these benchmarks in 5-10 years and see some ridiculous numbers with two perfectly flat lines on the graph :eyes:

Time always flies!
