I really tried to get myself into it. I mean, I loved 4 and spent so many hours grinding that game. I can’t get over how “off” this one feels though. Gears 4 was a little clunky and I expected that to be refined with 5 but it’s the opposite. I didn’t care when I played the campaign but I can’t do multiplayer like that. Not when other games I play are so much smother.
I did enjoy elements of the campaign though and I hope tactics gives me some more of the Gears fix I need.

It does not matter if this game fell off the charts and then TC said they would not update it there would still be people saying how it is great and brilliant and no one should ever criticize gears and all of the forums should only be posts in admiration for the greatest game that has ever be or will be lol.
Honestly I am amazed with what people will put up with in a game, if this “game” passes for a good game the bar has got real low.

I don’t think we are getting much more “new blood” regardless of where Gears is on such and such channel.
I concede that they should have offered a mode where you could opt out of the hero system. I made such a suggestion in the arcade horde mode post as a result of our discussions on it. I think that would be a good solution.

Back on topic a bit more…I’ve been gaming for ages too, and really, for me, it all boils down to fun now. And Gears 5 is completely lacking in that regard.
Oh well, at least it isn’t Tongue of the Fatman (aka Slaughter Sport) bad. Close though.

That’s what I keep telling all the single ladies.
A bunch of useless emotes that everytime i get into an intense shotgun battle i accidentally push the right stick in which then the game doesnt count my trigger pull because apparently there is a delay between triggering an emote and then shooting. Plus it blocks your entire screen view.
This right here!!! Happens to me all the freaking time!

Lately I’ve only been jumping on to do my dailies. Only because I’m close to getting the gilded baird skin. I have most of the horde classes lvled up already. Until they add more I might be playing more MHW and TW:WH2
