The post is the video. Not the other way around. You and others haven’t watched the video and are talking about Gears Esports as a whole. That’s not what the video talked about.

The video talked extensively about EU players talking about boycotting Gears EU competitive play due Microsoft cutting funding and them playing for lower prize pools.

Possible solutions to this problem, and actual insight about why the EU scene wasn’t there to begin with.

Y’all derailed possible discussion to discuss something toxic and negative.

You’re right, everyone is allowed an opinion but if it’s just some negative pessimistic ■■■■ about how you and others are glad Esports is dying or bragging about not watching the video than keep than keep it to yourself.

Let’s further the discussion, not turn into a spew of misinformation and a circle jerk of “Esports is the wooorsst I’m gladdd it’s dyinnnnggg”

I’m really curious about this one. Is a group of people telling each other what they want to hear positive?

Or is it a way to cope with the fact that Instead of contributing to the potential conversation surrounding a real issue, you and others really are just diluting it and turning it to a hate mob for something they don’t like?

Each to their own guys! What is wrong with everyone??? You wanna watch, you watch. You don’t wanna watch, you don’t watch.
Me personally I don’t like versus and I don’t care for esports, so I would never watch.
However if there was an esports for Escape…I would watch the sheeeeyat out of that!

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that is perfectly fine, but you have to admit that coming down full negative when not even watching the video and being even more negative when OP politely you tells you to either watch it or don’t, just don’t plainly say "I didn’t watch this!!

I remember Ryan Cleven’s forum answers (at least the few he gave before giving up) when people would post “your game is trash or whatever” and he would simply reply with “what is exactly wrong?” or “what do you propose to fix it”.

Disagree with the post if you like but maybe elaborate a little?

I seem to be one of the few here that actually likes watching Gears Esports. It’s neat watching really skilled players pull off some amazing plays. It also helps my skill a bit as I try to emulate some of the movements though I’ll never be anywhere as good. I also enjoy escalation as an Esports mode. Anti campy and a fair bit of strategy with spawn economy considerations.

What a shame…

I watch eSports for gears of war…

Giving away skins & seeing how top tier players handle situations was so much fun for me…

This is a damn shame…

We can’t even back up our pro players how do we expect to survive…

It’s not the pros fault TC really screwed the potential of this game…

If they were aware of the lore & what the veterans want instead of pandering to the people who don’t care & are not long term we’d have a massive population…

This is a damn shame.

I’m not crying, not sure where you got that idea from based on my original reply.
My comment about “being out of touch” wasn’t about people NOT watching my videos, it was specifically about people saying there isn’t a market to watch streams/esports. It’s a fact that there is, something that cannot be disputed.

I don’t petty name call, I respond respectfully and I give the viewer the chance to say YAY or NAY. So respectfully I’m finished with this conversation as I can’t find a way to approach you

I think this thread is spamming clickbait to increase your youtube traffic and ad revenue.

I also think eSports serve to profit for a few while bringing down the overall quality of a game for everyone else as developer’s split the focus of their efforts.

I can’t/won’t watch someone else play a game that I can just play myself and it didn’t even take me 40 minutes to state my opinion.
