It’s fine to present positive viewpoints if you genuinely enjoy this mediocrity. But if the substance of your arguments are “Quit complaining. Start playing” and “You guys are obsessed with posting negative threads” when you’re obsessed with posting in them then expect to get called out for it.
I’ve quit playing for about two months now and urged people to do the same, but not being vocal about the issues and giving TC a pat on the back for every little minor adjustment they make isn’t going to help matters any.
The fact that the playerbase is consistently dropping at an alarming rate, the plethora of bugs are still prevalent, progression saving issues are still a thing after completing 50 waves of horde, campaign still has game breaking bugs, the general gameplay mechanics are frowned upon, ranked is still broken a few months after launch and the store prices are srill ludicrous even for F2P games is not something people SHOULD be positive about.
If people aren’t vocal about this and keep praising devs for a game with all these issues then expect the gaming industry to only get worse from here on out. This isn’t just about the Gears franchise. It’s a bigger problem.
Facts are facts. This game shipped too early, wasn’t tested well, and poorly optimized. Now playing catch up is hard next to borderline impossible. This needs to serve as a reminder that gamers aren’t putting up with this kind of crap anymore. AAA games needs to be held to a higher standard so we don’t have these issues continuously occur or the future of gaming is screwed.
