Has anyone noticed changes to Ranked besides what TC mentioned (tier rescaling)? It seems like the way points are awarded has changed.
Stop yesterday playing as best player 30%. Do the first game today. Winning and make plus points and falling on 78%. This is the badest rank system. This happens for the third time. What is wrong with this game???

You went up in rank. You started as a Bronze 3 30% and now u are Silver I 78%. Unless i misunderstand what you are saying!?!
I lost 3K+ points in one game and it dropped me a rank but according to the rank table I should’ve lost 2 ranks. Next game I won and made some good points but I was de-ranked again,
WTF happened? Simple answer: the system moves you up or down only one rank at the time so if you won or lost points equivalent to go up or down more than one rank, then it will apply the remaining rank difference at the next match. Naturally it turns into a funny situation when you have positive points but still go down.
The math is fine, it’s the visuals that are poorly implemented.

Also considering other people are playing while you are not. Or score more than you while your playing. Everyone knows the rankings blow. But it’s seems to be getting better now. I finally float around onynx now. I was bronze forever. Helps with match making. You don’t have diamond players stuck at bronze beating lower rankings people up lol

No at the Last game yesterday I was best player and go up from 57% to 30%. And today I start and win the first match as you can see with pos. points. No games between best player yesterday and the win today.
Not good. Sounds like the ranking system is broken again or more than before.

Wait… this delayed way was already in gears 4 but back then they said they updated it. They said that moving up or down is done immediately at a certain point. No more funny situations through that. Now they move back to that ■■■■■■ system with gears 5? How come they always take one step forward and revert it back. How come tc doesn’t manage to iterate… it is tiring to have progress, then change it, then revert it, then remove it, then make progress again… and so on. This type of inconsistency killed entire games and it’s Communities, just look how paragon from epic games was abandoned by 90 percent of its playerbase because of this type of stuff.

One guy of our Clan lose 17000 points in one match and win 17000 points in one match!!! How is this possible?
I believe Dodgeball should be on Ranked tbh
