When Gears 5 launched it was an amazing time. The first 6 months was AMAZING. So much community. So many players chatting casually, making friends, sharing tips, tricks, team play. On mic and chat.
Then Coalition flipped the switch and the game is dead quiet. Players chat into a black hole. No team co-ordination. No tips. No tricks. No social. Nada.
In game chat has been dead for a long long time friend, though that doesn’t mean it will always be so.
Prove me wrong. I think Coalition want it dead like they made Gears 4 dead.
We all know why OP actually enjoyed the first 6 months, right?
I think I remember what you’re hinting at hehehe
I have a hypothesis, but not the stats to prove it I’m afraid… (for the record no such stats exist!)
I’m gonna step out now. I think you’re trying to start another flame war.
The difference is playerbase… there was more of that activity at launch cause there was a crapton more people at launch… but everything was broken.
If it had launched in even a state as far back as Op 4, it would still be just as populated now… would lose some, that’s just natural, but ya
Tbh the stuff they’re introducing in Op 7 is stuff that should have been there at launch and we would definitely still have a very solid playerbase.
Ohh you meant the community was amazing, for a second I thought you meant the state of the first 6 months of the game were amazing.
I agree though, the community was at its best when we still had hope on TC could fix their game. As soon they realized they could not do it, they silenced the chat to protect us from ourselves
Lol. The ingame chat didnt even work for the first few months IIRC, perhaps even the entirety of OP1. So idk what you’re referring to…
Could be wrong, dont think I am though. Patch notes from 2019 should clear things up.
All of the months have been amazing.
What are u taking about I could barely get into a game
Why are you here just to stalking people?
The chat issue is definitely a problem, but you already have threads on this.
Closing as this is doubling up and just leading to arguing.
