Unfortunately review bombing has skewed this metric to be taken seriously. It happens way too often now.

I honestly don’t think anyone’s complaining because they’re trash at the game. Anyone who played well in pretty much any other gears game could play ranked on gears 5 and do well.

Regardless, I trust that more than any other metric. At least the review bomb will indicate to me that something went wrong and force me to do some research before purchasing the product.
Anyone except you because you complain about the ranked all the time. Maybe you just aren’t as good as you thought there is nothing wrong with that, it will help you get better by playing against people around your skill level
So, in your honest opinion, do you think Gears 5 is more competitive in terms of its mechanics than previous Gears games? You seem to think that Gears 5 is the ultimate Gears experience and anyone complaining about the reduction in the overall skill gap must have been terrible at Gears all along.
I’m not bad at the game, I do relatively well as I have done in every previous installment, it’s just boring and easy.
Hire Cliffy B? He’s the one who walked away lol. He bankrupted a dev studio because he thought making an overwatch clone and a fortnite clone was a good idea.

Idk every gears game boils down to use Gnasher and wall bounce. You people act like it’s a deep intricate meta lmao. No reduction in skill gap.
Pretty much everyone is sat in Silver at the moment, bud. I’m talking about the actual gameplay anyway, not my ranking, the game gifting headshots, massive reduction in speed etc, the game is catered to casuals.
Funny thing is, his battle royale was made out of desperation because his first game failed. When that too failed, he was forced to close down shop and announced he was retiring from the industry.
Same thing with Epic and Fortnite, they made the battle royale side in desperation because its original game was failing, but out of that desperation, they ended up creating an unstoppable juggernaut.
Poor Cliffy. Actually nah, I don’t feel bad. Way too many times did he take jabs at the Xbox community since making Boss Key studios, karma is a b*tch.

I’m glad you’re having fun and are presumably doing well, ranking-wise. It’s nothing really to brag about or condesend to others over because it’s a documented fact that the ranking system is broken, but whatever floats your boat, dude.
