The entire marketing campaign behind Gears3 billed it as The End.
As far as I’m concerned that statement is still true. There have been a few pale imitations but Gears of War 3 was the last Gears game.

It’s easily better than judgement. Gears 1 2 and 3 are in a league of their own but I still hold hope that 5 can be on the same level as 4 once everything has been added and tweaked. I personally don’t think there will ever be a worse gears of war game than judgement.

Exactly this, it’s starting to get better, i think its finishimh position will be on par with Gears 4. Not a big fan of the heros system so this wont be reverted, though other issues will be.

I have been playing since launch (mainly pvp)apart from a break to play death stranding and a brief period back on the last of us factions with a few mates.
I am thinking of taking a break when nioh 2 comes out in March but I have a feeling with Ferguson leaving that TC might make Tod 3 really good as a show of intent that even with the head guy leaving they are still going to improve and add to this game.
Do you think gears 5 is going to have an upgraded version for the new xbox?
Interesting theory if they increase developer capacity then very possible. I would imagine that alot of MS studio games would get the xbox x upgrade treatment when it comes out
Yeah I don’t see why not. Gears 4 along with other games had the Xbox One X enhanced upgrade to it. Why wouldn’t they make it upgradable?

It’s not attacking others. People say GoW5 is the worst but it’s not. They can state their opinions , why can’t I state mine?
If you complain you probably need more practice. Mechanics are better than gow4. People are just never satisfied

Well I could say the vast majority of my inner circle don’t feel that way. Most players don’t. It’s always the people hung up on previous gears. It will never be the previous titles. Just give it a go. Practice & it will be ok.
Of course there is, and it’s called Gears 5.
It’s not the worst but it’s definitely something that continuously changes in a negative way. I played you earlier and we got a bit heated but I am not holding those negative feelings towards you here. I am just tired of a game that runs so poorly on a 15ms ping but then runs perfectly fine when I am on a 40ms ping. Frustration gets the best of me at this point because there’s no reason a 940/940 Fiber Connection on my home server should ever feel like I am playing on a 200ms connection. If The Coalition could create a consistent game play environment I’d never complain whatsoever.
I used to be able to keep my mouth shut when a game was broken because I’d move onto the next game. But I’m at the point where no other games really interest me so if Gears fails me there really isn’t anything holding me into this hobby. I’m a Master Tier player and consistently MVP lobbies but the moment I am thrown into these lobbies with a sub-20ms ping I begin to experience teleporting, sticky wall syndrome, sponging, killed around walls and other things that you wouldn’t even imagine possible with a low ping.
It’s sad man. I just want some consistency here. But Gears of War 1 was far more consistent than this and that had host advantage.

Yeah we played, I kept getting top on my squad. People would lag out of my team. It was terrible. They need to fix that. But I’m not gripeing that the game “sucks”

That and the previous post offering nothing constructive, only stating how people that disagree “must suck at the game”.
This isn’t up for debate, feel free to state your opinions without attacking other users.
So they can attack the game consistently but can’t be called out? Got it.
I only gripe on it being a “sucky” game because the core component to an online game is consistency. If your game fails to play consistently from match to match, much less round to round which this game struggles to do, there is a major problem. I don’t know why this happens but even in matches I do very well in I notice the experience change mid-match.
If I booted up Titanfall, Halo, Call of Duty, Battlefield or any other shooter I’d be able to play 20 straight games without feeling much if any difference connection wise. It’s only Gears that changes round to round and in the end that’s something they need to investigate and address in the immediate future.
