He simply missed.
Again, I do that all the time, even if the enemy is at full health. So yes, inconsistency is the issue here, as in things work one way at times and then donāt work in other instances.

People shoot me not even looking at me get a gib so shotguns are inconsistent as clearly guy didnt get the gib as a lot of pellets missed but if it were the other way around that other kid would of got the kill shooting his toe it stupid

I mean the shot registration markers say almost all the pellets landed. And im getting gibbed at way further distance than that lol. 
. But this is just typical Gears. People saying this didnt happen in Gears 4 didnt play enough. I had tons of point blanks that didnt gib and matches where my shotgun blew people away from 5 ft.

You guys have actually screwed the pooch with this one. Itās been messed up since NOVEMBER 16th!

I havenāt played ranked in over a week now. I want to get my masters back, but Iām not going to even bother attempting it until this rubbish is fixed.
Game is causing way too much anger and stress right now, due to this issue.

It definitely does not feel like the gnasher I know and love. The weapons in general are not satisfying to use this time around. The confirmation that youāre aiming and hitting feels off. There also seems to be a randomness to shot registration. Not to mention a really unresponsive delay. That would be fine if this was just a campaign game but Iām not playing competitive multiplayer with that garbage.

The easiest thing you can do is not depend on hip fire so much. Too many people depend on that just because they matched that damage with ADS.
That has nothing to do with it. Hit registration has been broken for a while now. Especially since TU3 where TC confirmed they broke it.
You seem more informed than most on here dude, so Iāll direct this at you. Iāve seen you mention before about the hip fire bug on pc. Are you just referencing the point blank/no damage ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā or something more? As you say since OP 2 dropped it has gotten worse but Iāve only seen TC acknowledge it once on twitter where they direct you to the status page, where it isnāt even listed as a problem haha?
