I was playing guardian and I was MVP on losing team with 22 elims and 10 deaths. NO ONE in the match was close to my score. The person in second has 10 elims 10 deaths. I loose 375 points. A few matches later I went negative with 5 elims and 6 deaths I gain 560 points. Both matches we werent expected to win. I get more points playing like sh ^t

Lost a 2-1 KOTH with MVP and 98 Elims with @veL1986 when we were on 80-120 Ping due to US servers.
They had a full stack on all low pings, showing 3-20ms.
Then, the next day,
Lost 2-0 when two people quit on my team and never gained so many points in one go.
Was Masters 56% and went straight to 37%.
So the sweatfest gets you a big loss in points despite having a lower team score and being MVP way above anyone else.
The dead weight game got me points, when I wasn’t even trying due to no point.

Any chance us Operation 2 Master players can be rewarded with the OP1 master skins, or at the very least, the Lancer? The tier system was a disaster back then… I had to scratch and claw my way to Gold 1, only to be deranked straight to Silver 1 two times. Eventually it got so bad I went all the way down to Bronze 1, lol. Finished the season with a total of 10 points in Guardian.
I just don’t think it’d be fair to hide those skins away forever, when the tier system was not working as intended, y’know?

Where does that end though? Because the Op2 ranking system hasn’t been much better… I’d even argue it’s been worse tbh.

In my opinion though, OP1 was far, far worse. My experience with getting stuck in silver, and losing thousands of points per game despite winning is not anecdotal. Many players on my F/L, the forums, Reddit, Twitter, etc were ALL reporting the same ■■■■. There were many threads made just for people to post their game results, and show off the absurd amount of points lost. It was pretty entertaining honestly lol
With OP2, from what I’ve gathered reading the forums and other social media platforms, Diamond is the new silver. People are having no issues going bronze - onyx, but once they reach D1 it’s like hitting a brick wall. Like today, for example. Started at D2 79%, and after a W/L of 20-2, I finished D1 45%. Like what? Those twenty victories were pub stomps, 3-0 pretty much every game, but two losses completely erased that and set me waaaay back from where I started.
So, yeah, I agree that OP2 hasn’t exactly been perfect. I’m just salty about being deranked twice and permanently stuck at bronze 1.
Battlefront’s issues are completely different from gears 5. People were mad at the pay to win which dice literally had no control over.
With gears 5 people are mad at the core gameplay which is TC’s fault. Only thing we can blame Microsoft for is them putting the game out when it wasn’t completed and the microtransactions/with holding content.

Wtf happened to this??? The limits don’t match anymore. Was that on purpose? Why say this is what it is if your not going to keep them? Every time I look it’s like the threshold keeps moving.

Another thing, Why is it that I’m still able to loose 1,500 points in one loss after a 8 game win streak? One game took out ALL of the point earned and more because with a win, the usual amount earned is from 0-36-250. And what happened to getting 0 when someone quits? Maybe I wouldn’t have lost that previously mentioned game if a teammate didn’t lag out. Smh… Gears I love you, but your actin a fool.

Omg!!! I seriously laughed out loud for so long after I read this comment. The struggle is real and my heart is broken. Waaaaahh.
I went back and played G4 for a bit the other night and WOW! It is a great game. I have put in a request/reported an error that the ranking website for 4 is missing and I would like to have it back, please. (Incase you are listing.)
One thing I also noticed was that I kept wanting to do my expressions- aka, laugh the psychotic laugh after downing/killing someone. I came to realize how much I really like those expressions!!!
