Is anyone else having an issue where ranked free for all is the only game mode that isnt able to find a match? Why does it take so long. With other games modes i find matches quickly
Yes! That’s the only ranked mode I enjoy to. I’m hoping they add FFA back to quickplay really soon.

Same I honestly love playing free for all but I can never find a match and its annoying. It wasn’t like this a couple of months ago. But it hasnt gotten steadily worst. I’ve tried reaching out numerous times but still havent gotten a response back

I felt that. It sucks too because I’m going for clips for content and I dont enjoy punching on guys who just got the game with games with gold or being targeted for being “sweaty” FFA was cool ran into other content creators and “sweats” was a good time.
lol same bro i just started saving clips and was going to get into streaming because I have the series x and FFA was the game mode I felt I was playing with other good players smh. I hope this can be fixed soon because I’ve been playing gears since 06 when it first dropped.

I usually find a match within 2 minutes. What region are you in?

You definitely shouldn’t be having that issue if I’m not (I’m in Australia),
tbh the servers have been really bad this last week so this could be another symptom

Yea like I said it wasnt like this a couple of months ago. I say prior to December I wasnt really having issues finding matches quickly. But since then I have to wait like 5+ minutes to find a match its annoying.
Sorry to hear that mate. It use to always be that way for Aus (during Operation 2 and 3) but it’s super weird that it’s happening to someone from the USA.

One would think that FFA would matchmake pretty quickly considering it doesn’t have to take into account stacks of any kind, and it’s no additional players over KOTH or TDM.
I sure hope FFA’s population stays healthy. FFA and 2V2 Gnashers are basically the only ranked modes I occasionally play. People really have to be hounding me for me to consider TDM or KOTH.

I find the opposite to be true. It’s the only ranked mode I can find ANY matches on

Hell yeah my boi! That’s wassup. I stopped playing ranked honestly because Gears 5 op 1 was so bad. Got to diamond solo but couldnt find a single rando that could buy a kill and the gp or whatever was busted at that time.
