Honestly the esports players just seem like a bunch of losers to me. I always get the vibe that they think they’re tough/badass every time I’ve tuned in to get skins. Does anybody actually care about esports?

No game will ever be that,
Gears is what I’m used to booting up, party chat with friends and having FUN.
I couldn’t care less that everything should be within 1mm of gib range or perfectly balance to the point where nothing is.
Especially since the Active Damage Boost has gone,… literally stripping away something that was apart for the game for 14 years …
eSports, the “Pro’s” - trying to make it a competitive game has literally killed the series.

I like 3 most too but people never stay for horde anymore every time I try playing it. When that happens you can’t really win them maybe they are doing because they see newer players IDK. So now I am mostly stuck playing 4.
I am going to remove 5 though I don’t like it. I tried it on Gold for a week now but I really find it frustrating and people seem waaay more selfish, they are just doing everything alone they also don’t revive people as much they are less friendly, it’s very different on it IMO.

TC is def making esports too big of a factor. They’re trying to make gears this serious competitive game and the fun gets lost in the process. Isn’t the whole point of gaming to be fun? Lmao. They’ll be way more successful if they stop listening to the esports nerds.

The eSports focus takes away from the game being fun.
