Not anymore sadly. Loved that game.

Had to find a new copy on Amazon personally. I had to play it before on legit min settings; was a crummy school laptop. Haha.

Plays much better now. LMAO

I once turned everything down the possible min settings and played for fun. It looked truly awful.

Absolutely fact man. :joy: :joy: Uber garbage. Nice of them to have the default be medium tho and tiny rez. Fixed that. Now it’s beautiful :heart_eyes::heart_eyes: for a 2007 game lol

Looks, sounds and plays superbly to this very day. Rare for me to find any online antics, though.

I spent hours tweaking settings to get the best out of that early UE3 engine, even have true EAX 5 surround sound working on my creative card. Bullets and environmental effects all with spot on positional audio whizzing and pinging everywhere.

Best game.

Win 10 x64 with fully functioning EAX5. Nice for Campaign with all the EAX reverb effects. 3D positional is there but lacks some accuaracy with the front end. Leave SBX Pro Studio off and just run with Windows control panel set to 5.1. You can override AA in Nvidia control panel too.

Backup and replace the contents of WarEngineUserSettings found in Documents>My Games>Gears of War for Windows>WarGame>Config with these settings
