Game dont start after update?

Game updated today and now when I want to start it I just get a black screen. What is this? Did the update destroy the game or what?

I have to hard reset the console for it to even start if it does this. Great update, it’s not even downloading the Hivebuster DLC when I do get into the game.

Did the reset and now the TC logo shows up and then I get the black screen. Thats unacceptable TC. Things like this should not happen.

I dont know what’s going on with my gears 5. After downloading the dlc it seems like it broke the game and now its redownloading the whole entire game. I just don’t get it

I can at least say that my download is now occurring, presumably after deleting and redownloading the DLC key from the store(nothing else I tried started the download up again). Here’s to hoping the black screen goes away once it’s done too.

XD, maybe our Xbox’s didn’t want us going through the pain of Operation 5.

That black screen apears every time when I start the game now and its downloading something. Thats so annoying. Is there any way to fix this or do I have to wait for a patch?
