Jacks moves are back, hopefully they’ll stay.
So this happened to me and my buddy playing co-op. We tried doing the crash site but after getting the stim upgrade it did nothing. So we went out, went back to Act 2 Chapter 1 (not ideal because you have to redo chapter 4 again, I know) and was able to to activate Pulse there. I did all the Pulse upgrades I could just for good measure then ran ahead till we got to a checkpoint so it would save. Went back to this chapter and got to the pulse part and it was there and worked perfectly. Hope this helps!
Same problem with coop. So I restarted from checkpoint solo…same. So I restarted previous chapter coop and it worked. Got all of jack abilities that I had. I lost 1 chapter worth of progress but at least I got the abilities that jack had
I just had this problem right now. Just got back a couple chapters and it all came back.
I bad this problem I start back the chapter in an other game and it works!
27th of March. I just noticed that playing with a friend makes Jack lose its abilities. And no one seems to be working on it 
No his components still disappear between play sessions. Only way I was able to complete campaign was to wait until I had exactly enough components for an upgrade and then spend them all before I quit the game.
I have the exact samen problem. When it al af chapter II. ‘the source of it all’ I need to have Jack scan the area, but the scanner dissapeared. I al stuck. Apparently the game breaking bug still isn’t resolved. Almost a film year after release… Damn. Game campaign is just broke. Pitty, because it started quite well. Is there any workaround to this?
I’m necro’ing this thread because this happened to me today. Completely forgot about having to use it for the ice in act 2. So stupid that this has been broken for so long.
It is now 27th December and just had this happen to me and the Misses. Completely gutted if we have to go back as we get little time to play it as it is, anyone found the easiest work around yet?
I just ran into this doing my Ironman playthrough in Act 2 Ch 4 today. Unfortunately you can’t change chapters with Ironman enabled so AFAIK the only ‘fix’ is to replay the campaign again from the beginning.
At least in 4 you could go offline by disconneting your ethernet during the loading screen, restart chapter offline, back to main menu, go online again, and continue.
That’s how I fixed my invincible Snatcher in the mines during my Ironman-run.
Dear God … 2021 and still not fixed. All of a sudden the pulse ability was gone.
- searched at the Condor crash site for it and found it, but it’s NOT USEABLE on Jack, wtf!
- tried the method from HerrKatzchen, but Ironman is immediately OFF after restart.
- here we go again. RESTART for the x th time because of campaign errors, dear God…
I just came across this on a Ironman run, and after an hour or so found a solution! Hope this helps anyone and everyone who comes searching for an answer, like I was!
