Frame rate is appalling since the update

So I went to play Gears today and it said the game needed an update. I quit out, updated then loaded the game again. The game is now almost unplayable. It’s jerky, slow and sluggish in any area where I’m not directly facing a wall. It feels like I’m playing it on a pc that is nowhere near high enough spec where as before it ran like a dream.

Anyone else having similar issues?

I’m running an Intel i7 4Ghz, 16gb Ram with an Nvidia GTX 1070

Is v synch on? I’m using an amd ryzen 5 1400 @ 3.2GHZ with 16gb ram and a gtx 1060 3gb and the game runs like trash with v synch on but it’s perfect when off. Your specs are way better so try that.
