Interesting. Wouldn’t have expected the Cryo to freeze those Scions that quickly with it taking an eternity with one that isn’t boosted.
Also, this is one hell of a typo…

I was surprised myself. Didn’t expect Freeze Resist and Flash Freeze to work so well.
We have tried this and it’s supper effective. Clayton with his two freeze cards is AMAZING.

YES! I started using that card a few days ago. Using marksman and freeze cards on gunner we were killing buzzkill scions in 1 hit

Also with those two freeze cards for Gunner you can outfreeze the ice Scion if you go head to head with him. Take that you ugly big turd!

So i thought id give this a try and im still failing. Its not that your method isnt working its mostly because of random and I am getting completely shredded by mulcher scions. I honestly don’t remember this many mulcher scions in this hive lol. 1 on the left with 2 dropshot scions and 2 in the middle … I …I … I just cant do it lol.
Edit. I think I have actually gotten worse at escape then I already was lol.
Do you have Bait Armor and Heavy Deflect maxed out and equipped? The key to deal with mulcher scions is to start freezing when they are 10-15 m away from you. Also don’t do a continuous stream of ice, instead do short spurts, works much better. It takes about 6 spurts to freeze scions.
I noticed that the drop shot scions are the only ones that give me problems on this map. Mostly because of the shield. That’s where your teammates can help you by distracting them.
I played another game last night where one of my friends was Tactician, I was Gunner and third one was leveling up his Robotics Expert, so his job basically was being a decoy lol
Oh im trying but the players who are coming in with me are not exactly from good stock lol. I keep getting the mulcher scion spawns and they keep alerting them by running all over the place. I havent even gotten a cryo cannon yet to use it on a scion thats how bad it is lol but I will follow the guide.

how does this work? does freeze armor + the other card enable the cryo to freeze this fast? Ithought it was just damge reduction + the amount of time it takes to freeze clayton. do those card benefit the cryo? im confused
Freeze Resist gives you protection from Mulcher Scion. Instead of insta freeze you have time to either run away to cover or if you have cryo you can freeze him. This is where Flash Freeze comes in handy as it allows you to freeze the scions within 10-15 sec.
Add - basically Bait Armor, Heavy Deflect and Freeze Resist all stack up.
That card got changed to Flash Freeze back when OP4 started.
