Has @TC_Sera said if it would be possible to also put this info on the forums?
That way people who use twitter get the info and those who use the forums but not twitter also get the info.
I was not involved in the discussion or decided to ask her in a forum message so I think you’d have to wait for a response here or send one yourself.
I would agree that posting Twitter messages as banners or something here would also be useful for those that don’t check there when there is things like server issues. Even I don’t very regularly.

I was responding to your claim that instant info capabilities meant that they could have ETA’s.
A tracker for major bugs may have tangential relevance to ETA’s but to go there is a change of scope and focus.
Did you care about ETA’s or are you just frustrated and lashing out?
There are still a lot of bugs and doing things that take time which could be fixing those bugs annoys me too but my point still stands that ETA’s are best given when confidence is high that the estimate is accurate.
Also TheeBluejay has posted the major bug tracker you didn’t seem to know about.
I want the bad things fixed too and I’m somewhat confident that focusing on one issue at a time is the best way.
You notice how that means fixing bugs before adding Bautista but it also means focusing on one complaint before raging against another. If you think that they didn’t care about the bugs because they focused on Bautista then you might notice how somebody could think that you don’t care about ETA’s because you also focused on Bautista.

If TC are in charge of 6 aswell… Gears is fooked.
We are over a year in and we still have pretty much a shell of a game. Anyone that says this is better than judgement needs to put the glass pipe down.
The way TC have handled Gears is nothing short of whatless. How can a company that claim they “love” gears, decimate the game to the heap of steaming turd that it is now? Can anyone please explain that to me?
We may aswell have ljn take over.

I hated 5’s story too.
Completely disengage JD from the story & We see Del’s soft baby sitter side… I won’t even get into that. I just didn’t enjoy it. My cousin didn’t enjoy it & he enjoys everything.

I complained about crossing I’m koth & they destroyed tdm for it. Hah. Hah. I’m beyond frustrated with these guys.
I love the game & I’ll stand by it which is why I’m strongly about it.
In the end I’ll defend 5 but I’m real critical & so far these guys listen when they want but so much unnecessary stuff more than the good they do.
I just blow it off. They don’t care. They rather have other projects than upgrade their game. That alone says a lot.

I still have a support ticket active which is now 13 months old (submitted 13 October 2019) and there has still be no news about the phase 3 Matchmaking fix for the underprivileged countries which can’t access decent multiplayer lobbies (i.e. Australia) since January.
This doesn’t even register on the Trello board and I’ve chased my support ticket twice now and still heard nothing further.
I understand COVID and all that which has impacted on the development cycle of the game, but honestly I’ve been super patient and it pains me when it’s taken this long to get something looked into

I understand your strategy not to say the date of this or that correction.
I was really upset when I didn’t see the long-awaited update for Part 4 with skins back in January 2020 that would help me get the achievements: I Like Em Crispy and Better Than Bacon.
But January 2021 is coming soon! and I’m just desperate. I don’t even know roughly what to count on. I see the news about the closure of GEARS POP and it just does not add confidence to tomorrow, I am really afraid that someday I will see such news about GEARS 5, I don’t want this, the games that you have created are really dear to me.
But for me, as an achievement hunter, it is important that they can be completed 100%
I am certainly pleased to hear that you are paying attention to this problem, but days, months, years go by, and it is still not solved, but I see how BATISTA and new skins are added to part 5, which in no way affect the completion of part 5. is it really so difficult to just go back to part 4 instead and make those skins that people are really looking forward to ???

It wouldn’t help. I’ve followed up repeatedly (given a few weeks/months between chases), have messaged on Discord and have posted about my issues here (including on the thread that Octus was monitoring at the start of the year).
My complaint hasn’t been resolved and the last response I had to it was in August this year (I’ve had two responses — one on March this year and an automated one in August discussing the delays due to COVID).
I’ve been very patient. I’m just upset that I’ve had an active request ticket in for support for over 12 months which hasn’t been addressed and hasn’t been provided with continual updates (to you know, let me know that it’s still active and being investigated).
It’s really disheartening that unless I create a Twitter account and message someone directly on there that I’m unlikely to get a response. I would have thought the official forums would have been the best place to get in contact with people about this issue, but I’m honestly just down a very poor dead end here. It’s just silly that you can’t flag/discuss the issues with anyone, and for you to follow up they just want you to submit another request to support …

This is what I’ve been saying. TC’s divided on so many different platforms. They’re on Twitter, the forums, YouTube, I hear there’s a forum on reddit, the in game news and I don’t know what else. They’ve made decisions or polls on what maps to bring back on Twitter but not everyone is or wants to be on social media like that.
Would’ve been better to have a poll in game or shown in the in game news and direct you to a link to vote on such matters get much broader perspective. That way it doesn’t come so much as a surprise either like not lot people asked for those maps. On top of this, like you said they don’t properly tell us what to expect, they don’t communicate or are transparent as to what’s going on.
I’ve wondered too why it is we aren’t getting any news or hype up until the day before or like this op think it might’ve even been the day of launch. There’s no hype for this game and they could’ve pushed it more like there has been some really cool stuff in the store lately and I was pleased with all the Halloween events and skins would’ve liked to see newer events but still considering how lackluster Halloween has been elsewhere and in general I was really happy to see that. Like I see so much potential in this game and to see so many missed opportunities is beyond frustrating.
Would be nice to know the status on fixes too they always give the same response like saying they are or will look into it and then we don’t hear about it or they say the same or point us elsewhere it’s old. Also, felt like many changes were just dropped and some not welcomed or asked for or wanted and felt random would’ve been nice to have some sorta of heads up or discussion prior to.
Like one of my favorite modes tdm was first being removed from rank then changed to 4v4 and duos stack and we barely got a heads up and it was done knowing so many people enjoy the game mode and want to play it competitively but they had their reasons even though it really wasn’t asked for until after they announced it and made the changes by king players or tdm players that feel the game mode was tarnished. I don’t mind the 4v4 I actually like it but either way would’ve been fine, but not allowing stacks…
Miss being able to play this mode with my friends and felt like was the best mode to really be able to play in my style(s) and try things or really utilize all the weapons. Now I have to resort to king which is fine but sometimes I don’t want to play that long or long of matches. I’ve even started playing u.e. again just to play tdm more so how it was.
This game mode has turned into social a lot of what they were trying to get away from and why they removed it in the first place is what they got now and still feels odd to me like they made tdm the guinea pig when other modes had many of the same occurrences like king with crossing especially on certain maps. It’s not the same at all I want to say stacks would help with majority of the feel but I don’t think it can be salvaged at this point or if that’s the only change.
I hope this made sense, writing this late at night, haven’t been on the forums in a while cause kinda feels like talking into the void at times cause of this. I’ve just stopped watching the developer streams too at this point.
