[Feedback After Tech Test & Release] Gears 5 New Inverse Omen

You’re joking right? Now i think you are trolling… lol

Comp Lancer takes 13 bullets.
Gears 5/4 is 10-12.

The Gnasher curve was posted the damage is basically equal to comp. tuning actives.

Yeah, it’s more like Comp damage but with Core’s Range

Plus teams, good organised teams, have 2 or more lancers on you so it can still be like a laser and get you down fast.

Lancer to the body 10-12 bullets? Not in my experience. Someone posted a clip 8 bullets to the head for a down. But i havent seen a body clip.

8 is Arcade tuning

Arcade is like 3 bullets for a headshot lol.

I didnt measure it thats what it felt like lol.

Proof or it didn’t happen :joy:

In Gears 4 the lancer could range from 8-18 hits for down. This was the result of range, body placement, Core vs Comp and active / non active.

From what I’ve experienced in 5, the lancer mimics Core tuning more so than Comp when it it comes to a down.

Definitely not my experience, but I wonder if TC is willing to give us the curve like they did with the Gnasher.

Looks full red with smoke blurring vision… (or a flashbang)

Pretty much :+1:

My point is serious.

It’s not anywhere near difficult to see as these images circulating like to claim. It’s a situational grenade and you wouldn’t be able to see with or without the OMEN.

Less the flash bang but more the actual UI.

Doesn’t matter if you can see or not.

It’s bad design and doesn’t need to be there in Gears.

Anyway, I’ve said all I can now, just repeating myself or going round in circles.

It’s easy to see across Forums and Twitter that the vast majority do not like it because they too see it’s just a bad design choice and could have been done so much better.

Guess it’s up to TC to change it, tone it down or do nothing.

The vast majority here is still a minority. These people would still have it playing like Gears 2 which was not something to be proud of.

I wouldn’t make general statements like that tbf because that’s unfounded - everywhere I’ve seen, people see number 3 as the best even though it’s one of my least. Never saw 2 as mentioned to be good and I felt it wasn’t as good as 1 anyway.

But that’s a completely different subject.

It’s been around these forums quite a bit. As has the other two you mentioned. None of those games played better than 4/5. They all had issues of their own that were rectified with Gears 4. Obviously it’s not perfect but it got much better from a technical standpoint

UE and 4 play the best - 5 isn’t even near those two.

I’d still take a Remaster of 2 over 5 if it wasn’t the fact that I’m only going to be playing and looking forward to the Campaign in 5.

At least during the tech test I played with mostly solid connections.

On Gears 4 it’s always inconsistent Mexican connections.

Maybe I’d like 4 more if I could play it without others ruining it for me.
